Inner Guidance

What do you want to know?
For the answers will appear
If not right before your eyes
Then somewhere very near

Tapping into the fountain of wisdom
Is so easy, once you know how
The truth is, we already know
The answers, right here and right now

Just trust and let the energy flow
In whatever way suits you best
For some it’s with the written word
Go on, put yourself to the test

For others the truth is with their feelings
With their intuition they lead the way
They will know by their gut reaction
If there’s truth in what you say

Maybe your wisdom is experienced on a wider canvas
The world is a place of many scenes
One day something that you hear or see
Brings definition to your wildest dreams

Whatever your way just trust and believe
Your quest has just begun
Fill your life with joy and love
And remember we are all one

Knowing the questions, or what you want to do
Is the hardest part for you

About This Poem

When I wrote this poem in 2002, I had started to notice all of the synchronicities in my life that had brought me to where I was at that time. It had been almost ten years since I became more interested in the spiritual side of life, and over those years whenever I ‘asked’ a question the answer would come to me in some way or another, but it wasn’t until looking back over the years that I could see a pattern of the answers appearing in various forms.

Update 23rd April 2023 – The Great Awakening

I am including this poem in my new category for ‘The Great Awakening’ as it is only through our own Inner Guidance that we can discern our own truth in this tumultuous time we are going through. And of course, remembering ‘We Are All One’ is so very important.
