Break The Cycle

We have all been programmed
In so many different ways
From the moment of our birth
All through our living days

Taking on our parents views
In thought, belief and attitude
They were only doing their best
Whether right or misconstrued

Throughout the education system
We pick up the current teaching
The results shape our lives
Teachers attitude far out-reaching

Society’s perceived rules
Fitting-in, not standing out
Do as everyone else does
If you don’t want to go without

Religion and politics
Have a great deal of control
Lacking in openness
Can never make you whole

All of the many media’s
Radio, TV, Social, Movie
Shape our growing minds
Repetition embeds our psyche

It takes a questioning mind
To see the constructed path
Our programming has brought
And the resulting aftermath

Thinking for yourself
And seeking deep within
Using critical thought
Revelations will begin


Break The Cycle of patterned beliefs
Buried deep in your unconscious mind
As a child you absorbed many ‘truths’
With inner-work these you can find

Break The Cycle of your education
Seek always to continually learn
Question everything you read
Truth constantly to discern

Break The Cycle of society’s grip
On what is perceived right or wrong
Guided by your integrity
To the New Earth you belong

Break The Cycle of religion
If you’ve been led this way
Does it teach Unconditional Love
To all every single day

Break The Cycle of politics
Do they seek for the greater good
Compassion for all living things
No room to be misunderstood

Break The Cycle of mainstream news
Don’t watch or listen if negativity is sought
For there is always good news to view
Balance and truth should be taught

Break The Cycle of violence and horror
Portrayed on many films and TV
It all instills and creates a response
In the negative do you want to be?

Break The Cycle of the high drama
And lack of morals depicted too
Especially for the impressionable young
Critical thought they cannot do

Break The Cycle of social media
Training minds in many ways
Seeking ‘likes’ to be accepted
Following trends, the latest craze

Break The Cycle of following rules
Not just for the sake of compliance
Whoever they’re from, first give thought
Does your heart give you alliance?

Break The Cycle of generations
Manipulated to endure
Control by the elites
Dominant now, as never before

Break The Cycle to live a life
Of Compassion, Love, Sovereignty
The New Earth awaits our alignment
Breaking old cycles, we will be free

About This Poem

The Great Awakening, that has been going on over the past few years, has been about breaking all of these cycles, I know there are more aspects I could have mentioned too, such as Break The Cycle of big pharma, where there is a pill for every ill.

If this poem was written this year it would certainly contain a verse on ‘Break The Cycle of royalty. With the coronation this weekend so many people will be caught up in the hype without questioning what this man stands for and where his loyalty lies, it certainly isn’t with the ‘common man’ who he has now decided should swear their allegiance to him! I believe many of us will be swearing: NOT MY KING!!!

No Posts For A While
You many have noticed I have not posted since September 2022, I do have many poems in drafts to add, and I have many times gone to post one, but none stood out as ‘the one,’ so I didn’t post. I always use my intuition on posting, even if it means not doing so.

Poem Videos
I have been making videos of me reading my poems and setting them to photographs/pictures with the words of the poems. Completed videos have been added to the bottom of the page on relevant poem posts. As of today, there are 61 videos which are also on a playlist, if anyone is interested.

The Great Awakening
I am in the process of changing two of my old categories on old posts, ‘2020 Apex Of Duality’ and ‘Wake Up’ will become ‘The Great Awakening.’ It will take some time to go through changing posts, as I am writing an update for each one and there are over 100 to do. I am compiling a book of my ‘The Great Awakening’ poems, to include pictures and notes about the poems, so reading through all of my poems to see which ones to include, I realised that many older poems, not in these two old categories, should also be included.

Don’t Stumble Over Something Behind You

No one has an easy path
Accepting this simple truth

It can seem others have it easy

About This Poem

Lately I’ve been fascinated by reading the poems I wrote in 2019 (the year before our world changed) and their revelence to what has been happening. Today, looking for a poem to add (from the titles in my drafts list) this one grabbed my attention and after reading the poem I knew it was the one for today, as it’s so relevant to my life for the past few years and especially my recent notice of my ‘stumble!’

Once I began to understand the Law of Attraction (2010) I would only write about positvity, apart from slightly mentioning the opposite for clarity. Then in a series of synchronicities (that confirmed to me to continue) in summer 2018 I began to write about the darkness that has dominated our world for centuries, but is now being eliminated by the Light.

From the very start of the ‘plandemic’ what we were being told made no sense to me, so I never believed the media or government. However, I soon found out that something was indeed going on and only time would tell for it all to come out into the open. Back in 2020 I thought it would all be coming to Light by 2021, so I began to daily check-in with the ‘news’ to see what was being said. I had not followed the news at all since learning of the Law of Attraction as I knew it was focused on high drama and negative stories. I knew it was used to manipulate the masses and was also not based on truth. However, I believed that by dipping in daily I could find out how things were going for the good, but not be sucked into the negativity because I chose to focus on the Light.

Then, in 2021 I came to realise that it was going to take much longer because the only way for the masses of people to wake up to what has been going on is to show them, letting them experience the obsurdities in their own lives. If the truths were given suddenly, laying it all out bare for everyone to see, there would be such a mass shock to the majority of people that it would cause too much harm in so many ways. However, I continued to daily check-in with what was being put out there for the masses. There were some indications of truths coming out, so I was ever hopeful that ‘soon’ it would all flow.

And into 2022 I continued as before, but I distracted myself from the worldly going-ons by putting a lot of my time doing something I enjoyed (family tree research) and that helped. As the months passed – so fast – I realised that I was not as positive and uplifted as I used to be, and had no desire to write any new poems.

On 22nd July, just glancing through my Facebook feed I came across this quote and although it was something I already ‘knew,’ it really HIT me and from that day I stopped looking at any mainstream news.

You cannot look at that which you do not want and not join and perpetuate that vibration. Take your attention from that which is not in harmony with who you are, and your ‘now vibration’ will adjust to who you really are – and then you can uplift others. – Abraham-Hicks

I realised that by putting my daily attention on the news, however short a time and my focus, I was regularly ‘joining and perpetuating that vibration.’ I also acknowledged that by following several ‘Truthers’ I was continually waiting for something to happen, instead of living my own truth. So I drastically reduced watching them, being very selective on where I put my attention. Just doing these two things, in only a few days I began to notice a difference in how I felt, for the better.

Today before writing this part of my post, I wrote my first poem of this year, and ‘being selective on where I put my attention’ is what it’s all about! (not intended as I wrote that) At the moment it’s called ‘Your Menu.’

I could wish I’d noticed by stumble over something behind me much sooner than I did, but “Life is full of challenges, no one has an easy path, accepting this simple truth, can bring a smile and a laugh!” I was never sure about the last line of the first verse on this poem, which is why it’s been waiting in my drafts for over three years. Now it’s more evidence of Diving Timing (for me) as today these words fit so perfectly, as I smile and even laugh at my humaness in not following my own advice!

Update 26th May 2023 – The Great Awakening

As I go through adding relevant poems to this category (and for a book) this one obviously needed to be included, not only because we truly need to focus on moving forward, but also my ‘About This Poem’ observations of my own stumbling noticed last year!

I still don’t follow mainstream news etc.. and also do my best to steer clear of alternative speakers of doom & gloom. I truly believe we are heading for a beautiful world full of Love & Light, but, to get there Light has to be shone on the darkness to eliminate it, while we remain focused on our road ahead.

About This Poem

For some of my poems I like to use quotes from my site Spiritual Quotes To Live By, this one from Nikola Tesla was one I noted to use a long time ago. I have a link page for my Quote Poems, if you are interested in reading more from different people.

I first heard of Nikola Tesla about twenty years ago, back then little was put ‘out there’ about him, so it’s wonderful to now see that he is finally getting the recognition he so deserves. A Way-Shower, ahead of his time, who knows where would have been technologically, if he’d have been supported more. But, it’s never too late to learn from our past, and use the knowledge to create our future.

Update 30th May 2023 – The Great Awakening

The extent of manipulation and suppression of people, in the past and present, who have invented amazing things to aid humanity is one of the many things that more and more people are becoming aware of in this time of The Great Awakening. If it were not for this suppression we would all have free energy and so very many diseases etc.. would be eliminated, along with many other incredible advances in all areas of our everyday lives.

Acknowledging that everything is to do with energy, frequency and vibration is another important lesson at this time as it is essential to keep our own vibration as high as we possibly can, this will radiate out and uplift others close to us and worldwide. The more people who do this, the quicker we will get through this difficult time and manifest our New Earth of Love, Light, Truth & Peace.

About This Poem

I haven’t added an older poem for quite awhile, this one stood out to me from those left.

If you have never listened to, or read, anything from Abraham-Hicks then the idea of getting into a Vortex might seem a little strange! But, basically it’s all about getting yourself into: the right frame of mind, a positive vibe, feeling good, looking on the bright side etc… and by doing this before you do anything else, everything will then flow for your (and everyone else’s) highest good.

About This Poem

My first poems that used a quote for the title and theme were from the ‘Conversations With God’ books by Neale Donald Walsh. Back in 2001 I had no idea that I would one day develop my love of quotes and inspirational poems to write many more poems and to build a website of more than 300 pages containing over 11,000 positive quotes – Spiritual Quotes To Live By.

Update 29th April 2023 – The Great Awakening

I have included this poem in my new category of ‘The Great Awakening’ as it is guidance for how we will create our New Earth.

As so much is being uncovered of the control and manipulation we have endured over the years, and the dreadful attrocities carried out by those we were taught to look up to, it certainly is ‘hard to look on the bright side.’ But, if we are pulled down by the revelations then we are only creating more dome and gloom. We need to view each outpouring of negativity coming forth as a chance to bring the dark deeds to Light for the world to eradicate all of the darkness that has been hidden for so long.
‘Be Love and find the good in all things’ is our truest way forward.

Nearing the end of 2014
I decided to visit the beach
A visualization in my mind
When answers I couldn’t reach

I’d been going round in circles
Not knowing which way to turn
What should I focus on?

James was there waiting

About This Poem

This is another one of my poems about one of my visualization/visions that I have been doing occasionally since 1999. To read more and find out how it all started I have a link page.

After this vision in 2014, I Googled: ‘Be Love, Seek Joy’ to see if it was a known quote from anyone – to confirm I wasn’t just remembering it, and to see if it was okay to use it on my Spiritual Quotes To Live By site, without having to credit it to someone, so that I could make a picture out of it as a divider. I didn’t find it, so went ahead.

The flowers are cut-outs from my nature photos I take to make up my quote pictures.

Of course, there are many who wisely say to ‘Seek Joy’ and I especially know that it is often told by Abraham-Hicks – who I have listened to and learned from for many years, but, the important thing is to ‘Be Love’ first. By always coming from a place of love the joy will flow effortlessly, and you can also be at peace knowing that everything you create for your joy will always be for the highest good of the all.

About This Poem

Incase you haven’t read my recent posts, I am re-writing some of my favourite classic inspirational poems to make them into Affirmations. 

I first heard the words of Desiderata in 1972 when I was eleven. The song by Les Crane was in the UK charts, so for several weeks it was being played often on the radio. I really loved some of the words and they stuck with me through my life, so when I began to collect inspirational quotes and poems in the early 90’s, this was one of the first I searched for. Although I always liked the poem, it never completely felt right to me. It was when I learned of the Law of Attraction that I discovered why: so much of it is negatively focused. Here is the original poem by Max Ehrmann with the two parts I always remembered in bold…

Go placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others – even the dull and ignorant – they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble, it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is, many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.

Therefore, be at peace with your God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labours and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your Soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.

I’m fascinated now thinking back (as I write this), I can see that the words I remembered have shaped my life…

“Go placidly amid the noise and haste” Throughout my adult years, I have been told by many different people that I have a calming presence “and remember what peace there may be in silence.”  I have always enjoyed the silence of being alone.

“You are a child of the Universe, no less than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be here.” In more recent years I have come to discover that not feeling ‘worthy’ has been a negative trait that has run through my whole life. I believe I clung to these words as they helped me to feel better about myself. But also, even before I heard these words, I had began to be drawn towards certain trees. In later years my love of trees grew and also my awe of the overwhelming magnitude of a sky full of stars, with all it’s potential!

“And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the Universe is unfolding as it should.” It was to be many years before I truly understood these words. The Law Of Attraction and that no matter what happens in our lives – All Is Well – are now two very important parts of my passion in writing to inspire others.

Did I attract those traits from the words impregnated in my mind? Or, was I attracted to them (to be installed) because they were a part of who I was destined to become? It seems to me to be like the ‘chicken and egg’ question!

Update 10th May 2023 – The Great Awakening

Desiderata means things that are desired/wanted, so I named my version Desiderata Fulfilled as an affirmation of achieving these things. I am adding this poem to my new category of ‘The Great Awakening.’ as I believe these are the desires for a world of Love and Peace, by focusing on them as affirmations gives them greater power, as the ‘I AM’ acknowledges the God/Source power within us.

At this difficult time, with so much negativity going on, it is so very important to keep our vibrations as high as possible, which I believe this poem aides. It certainly helps me to feel positive!

I Am A Channel Of Your Love, Light & Peace

About This Poem

I have always loved the original poem by St Francis:

Make me a channel of your peace
Where there is hatred let me bring your love
Where there is injury, your pardon Lord
And where there’s doubt, true faith in You.

Make me a channel of your peace
Where there’s despair in life let me bring hope
Where there is darkness, only light
And where there’s sadness ever joy

O Master grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love with all my Soul

Make me a channel of your peace
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned
It is in giving to all men that we receive
And in dying that we are born to eternal life

It is amazing to think that these beautiful words were written so long ago (St Francis 1181 – 1226) but are still so relevant in the world we live in today.

This poem is the only one I have in clear view at my desk, to remind me of how I want to live my life. But, in recent times, when I read it, I notice that although it speaks so clearly of the qualities I desire, and of how the powerful Law of Attraction works, it doesn’t ‘affirm’ these things. The negative aspects are mentioned and it is written as a plea of something to achieve, rather than an ‘Affirmation of Being.’ 

I had been thinking of doing some Affirmation re-writes on some of my favourite poems for quite awhile now. The other day in my notebook I found a simpler version of this one, written in January 2018, that I’d forgotten about (I will add this soon). But when I read it through I thought it was too wishy-washy and I wanted to bring more depth of meaning and to convey our own personal connection with whoever we are praying to. (God, Spirit, Jesus etc..)

Looking at these two re-writes I can see the growth I have made in a year.  In the first I tried to stick clearly to the original with simply affirming the statements. My insecure thoughts were: Who am I to think I should re-write such a renowned inspirational poem? Which is probably why I never did anything with it, or have a go at re-writing any more.

But now, I feel more powerfully in alignment with Source to be able to proclaim these words, knowing I create my world with my thoughts and beliefs. I no longer just wish to achieve these goals of love, forgiveness, faith, hope, light, joy, understanding, and of course, peace, but instead I chose to consistently affirm my eternal connection and BE these attributes.

By the way, the poem may seem a little repetitive with lots of  – ‘I Am’s – but this is for a reason: I AM announces the presence of God within.

When I originally added this quote to my website (back in 2010) I now realize that I didn’t fully understand it. But, through the teachings of Abraham-Hicks I came to see the ‘Light!’

Although the quote is mentioning tomorrow, it’s actually about today. With focusing on all the good and ‘Light’ of today, the Law Of Attraction we will bring a ‘tomorrow’ of goodness and Light. There is no need to worry (or any other negative feeling) about tomorrow if today we are living each moment in positivity, and when a negative thought or situation arises just ‘Reach for a thought that feels better.‘ (Abraham-Hicks quote)

This was the first poem I wrote using this quote, but as sometimes happens, when I finished I knew there was another one to write using the same quote. This first poem was more of a fun one, but I wanted to write one that explained the quote. The second Light Tomorrow With Today was my favourite of the two.

What You Think About Activates A Vibration Within You

About This Poem

I had already written ‘A Handmade Christmas’ a few days earlier, but what I thought I could use as a short poem to give at Christmas turned into something way-too-long, but I was happy with it, so I knew I needed to write another!

With the intention of writing something that conveyed the thoughts that go into making something for someone you love, and the power of thought, this poem was also short enough for me to make into tags for my handmade Christmas gifts.

A Belief Is Only A Thought I Keep Thinking

Our lives are made up of many beliefs
We learn most when we are small
Most of us don’t even realize
How much they affect us all

So many beliefs are ingrained in us
We don’t even know they are there
Maybe hearing things often as a young child
Or sensing our parents despair

Although we don’t need to dwell on the past
Sometimes it can be helpful to find
Those negative beliefs that are holding us back
By being dominant in our sub-conscious mind

A belief is only a thought we keep thinking
So our beliefs are easy to change
We just change it to a positive thought
Which at first will feel a bit strange

By focusing on the positive thought
And repeating it often each day
Soon you will find your new belief is there
In what you do, and in what you say

For instance, one of the most common beliefs

Update 30th April 2023 – The Great Awakening

This short poem is being included in ‘The Great Awakening’ category as it contains truths that are part of our Awakening. The fact that we are an extension of God/Source has been hid from us through the manipulation of religion, science, education, media etc.. because once we truly know this, we also know that we are extremely powerful creators.

We all have a free-will choice to seek the Light within then to expand and radiate it out to everyone, or, to not acknowledge it and let it become increasingly dim, pushing it deeper and deeper into the depths of the shrinking Soul. Of course, there are various degrees of these opposites. I’m sure we all know of good, Loving, kind people who do not accept anything Spiritual as a part of their life.

God/Source Loves us all, those whose Soul shines brightly as a beacon and those whose Soul has it’s spark smothered by darkness. The dark ones (who are showing up as all the revelations are coming forward) have a long way to go towards showing any of their Light, perhaps many, many lifetimes ahead of them. Although it is also possible that some we see as ‘dark’ are playing a part in bringing people to Awaken to what has been going on for such a very long time, so that we can use our Powerful Source Energy to create a ‘Now’ and a future that is worthy of our true identity: Expressions of God/Source.

Update 3rd May 2023 – The Great Awakening

All of the statements in my poem are relevant to this current time we are living through. It is very important to remember we are attracting what we are focusing on, so that we can make sure to pay more attention on what we want to create now and in our future, rather than dwelling on all of the darkness that has happened in our past and is now coming to Light at our present time to be cleared.

One of the things that is coming to Light is of many people who we thought were ‘good’ were actually working for the dark and using their ‘celebrity’ status to push charitable work etc.. which undercover was used for money making, child trafficking etc… I mention this here because the Dalai Lama a few weeks ago came up as possibly one of these figures. A video was shown of him being inappropriate with a young boy. The evidence seems to put him under this category, especially as there have been other links with him to organizations that have proved to be nefarious. However, there are also suggestions that his behaviour was part of tradition and that he is possible affected with mind altering aging disabilites. It is difficult to discern the real truth unless a lot of research is done.

As the Light continues to grow stronger, time will tell which is the core truth, and in the meantime, it gives us all a big nudge to question EVERYTHING, including those who we have viewed as the highest Spiritual people alive today.

What are you thinking, right now this minute,
Is it a good thought with you in it?
Or is it a thought that you are not good enough
You can’t do something because it’s too tough?

Are you thinking about having some fun
Playing with friends out in the sun?
Or are you thinking your friends won’t play
Because they were unkind to you yesterday

You might be thinking of your birthday treat
All the presents you’ll get and good things to eat
Or are you thinking your birthday is so far away
There is no point in getting excited today?

There are good thoughts and there are bad
Some make you happy and others make you sad
If you are not sure if one is good
Does it make you feel better, as it should?

Try always to do your best

About This Poem

One of the first poems I wrote ‘Where Is God?‘ was for children. I had not intentionally sat to write that poem many years ago, but it just came to me when my mind was drifting sat on a bus journey through the countryside. In 2013 I decided to have a go at writing some more poems for children that covered spiritual and law of attraction principles. My favourite one was ‘Why Did You Come Here?‘ and there was also one about reincarnation ‘Before We Were Born.’ This one was to teach children about the importance of their thoughts.

About This Poem

When I wrote this poem in 2002, I had started to notice all of the synchronicities in my life that had brought me to where I was at that time. It had been almost ten years since I became more interested in the spiritual side of life, and over those years whenever I ‘asked’ a question the answer would come to me in some way or another, but it wasn’t until looking back over the years that I could see a pattern of the answers appearing in various forms.

About This Poem

This was the first poem I wrote using this quote as a title and theme, but after writing it I knew I wanted to write another one. ‘The Best Way To Make Children Good’  focuses on how wanting our children to be happy is something that continues throughout their lives, no matter how old they are, and is a more personal poem.

Quite a few of my poems feature the unknowing lifetime impact parents have on their children, not just with their words and actions, but their thoughts and feelings, because it is the most important thing I wished I’d known when my children were little ones.

Reflections

If personal development’s something you pursue
There are many helpful exercises to follow through
A while ago I came across one, but put it aside
Feeling unsure, from the answers, I chose to hide

The idea is to send a message to people you know
And ask them to help you in your quest to grow
By them disclosing what they truly think of you
Warts ‘n’ all, requesting a completely honest view

The positive answers are a blessing to read
Building self-esteem is something we all need
But the negative ones are what you really seek
To find out where your personal qualities are weak

By using these answers as a guide
You work through the ‘problems’ identified
To enable yourself to blossom and grow
Living more as your Higher-Self, you’ll show

Recently I received this request from someone
I couldn’t refuse, it just had to be done
I respect her for how much she has grown
I started to contemplate and not postpone

It was so simple to think of the positive things
The abundance of love and support she brings
But the negative… I just didn’t want to find
Why was this? I had to delve deeper into my mind

I have been on my own journey of growth
And now live each day by my personal oath
To always look on the positive side
And use my intuition as a guide

I found my intuition was saying, No, not this way
The message is not the right one to convey
For in truth we are all ONE and the same

All the varied relationships are a way to show

About This Poem

Hal Elrod author of the international best-selling ‘The Miracle Morning’ advises the use of this exercise for self-development. I loved this book and Hal’s miraculous story, and so told someone I know all about it, as I knew she would love it too. I had forgotten all about this exercise, I suppose because I never did it, so was slightly surprised when I received an email asking for my insight into her character.

This person has been in my life for many years and has been one of my greatest lessons of life. Years ago I could never understand why she was the way she was, and her hot-headedness led to a dramatic incident between us that sparked a rapid change in her character. Over the following years we grew closer and now, although I don’t see her very often, we have a great relationship and share a similar outlook on life.

I thought about how to answer her request and then sat to write some notes, but instead wrote this poem. As she knows all about the Law of Attraction (and that I write poems!)  I knew she would understand my answer.

I have already posted another poem based on the acronym S A V E R S which Hal Elrod uses as a reminder of the six tasks to complete if following his Miracle Morning. 

The Greatest Illusion

When we arrive on this planet
We know we are One
A part of All-That-Is
Shining brightly as the sun

Not able to tolerate
The density of 3D
We escape to the other side
Sleeping blissfully and free

But we chose to come here
So get stronger each day
We have years to adjust
As we learn through our play

Those early years shape us
In innumerable degrees
Anchored to who we are with
Through their calm or rough seas

Our intellect develops
As the years pass on by
But the beliefs we took on

This poem came about because of a comment from Amira  (BodyAndSoulNourishmentBlog) that she added to my poem ‘You Cannot Be Separated From Source’ on her blog. 

“There are times when we feel lonely, and it’s our illusion of separation that makes us feel like that in this 3D reality. However, the greatest truth is that we belong to our Cosmic Family, we are part of the One Source, and that link is always there, we just need to remember.” – Amira

About This Poem

The ‘Conversations With God’ books by Neale Donald Walsch really resonated with me and struck a deep chord with my Inner-Knowing, so even the concepts that I had not come across before I took on, and began to understand their truth also. 

In 2001 I had written just a few poems, but I thought it would be a great idea to write some more using some of the Core Concepts of the Conversations With God: Book One  as the title and theme. This Concept attracted my attention because I had been noticing signs in answer to my questions for several years, so it was an easy one to write about.

The picture below I put together today. It was an easy choice of which photograph I should use, even though I have used it many times before! This dandelion was the first photograph I took that really opened my eyes and heart to nature, so for me it was a sure sign from Source in May 2010.

The way we view all that is going on in our world at this time of great change will affect how long it will take for us to create our New Earth of Love, Compassion and Peace.

With all of the revelations coming to Light many people are feeling very angry and if they stay in that emotion for too long they will probably move on to wanting revenge etc.. Of course, there is nothing wrong in feeling anger, but it doesn’t help the individual (or world) to dwell in any negative emotion, especially as this ‘feeds’ the darkness.

One of the ways we have been manipulated over the years is by negativity caused by various divisions of humanity: wars, religion, gender, race, class etc.. This has been heavily pushed in more recent years with the strong emphasis on making anyone questioning the official narrative a ‘conspiracy theorist’ or ‘anti-vaxxer’ etc…

We will never agree on everything, but, respecting anyone to have their own view (regardless of how right or wrong we feel it is) I believe is the way forward. However, this does not mean that we have to bow to their perceptions, nor allow anything that we consider morally wrong to be forced into the developing minds of our children.

Many would say we are in terrible times with so much darkness going on – Change The Way You Look At Things – we are in Enlightening, changing times as wrong-doings are being shown to the world, And The Things You Look At Change – we are eliminating the darkness with our Compassionate, Loving, Light.

About This Poem

Well, Nothing Is By Chance… but this poem took me totally by surprise!

I wanted to write a poem so I chose a quote that jumped out at me from my long list. As I made myself a coffee and toast, I began to think of how it would shape and knew it would obviously be about coincidences and synchronicity. Not wanting to start writing without my usual prayer of thankfulness and asking for guidance, I first checked my emails while I had my breakfast, which led me to read a few articles from a blog I had been sent a link to a couple of days previously (remember Nothing Is By Chance!)

Years ago I followed many blogs etc.. that dealt with the dominating elite of our world, of how we are controlled and manipulated. But, I eventually realized that as I chose to focus my attention on the positive I had to let go of keeping the wrong-doings so fully in my sight. The only blog I continue to follow, from back then, is Blossom Goodchild because her channellings from The Federation Of Light are so full of love and upliftment and sing so true to me. And it was a link from Blossom that led me to the blog of Deus Nexus. I read the article she linked to about observatories closing and began to browse the blog. I immediately realized it was the type of site I used to follow, containing all the latest news about what is going on, but there was also a balance of ‘good’ stuff too, so I went to take a look at the ‘About’ page. There I read the poem ‘Consider A Tree’ by David Nova (the author of the blog) and I immediately knew this was a synchronistic link. The poem is so beautiful (please do read it) I just had to ask if I could share it on my Spiritual Quotes To Live By site. (permission was granted)

From their I found that David is the author of a metaphysical fiction series, so I checked Amazon and read the beginning of his first novel and was hooked! So I bought it. I haven’t had a lot of time for reading since then, so I am only a few chapters in, but it is very intriguing.

So, because of this synchronistic link the darker side had crept back to my attention.

Going back to the creation of this poem..
After praying for guidance and visualizing the completed poem ‘out there’ uplifting people around the world, I got ready to write… I read the quote again and thought of coincidences, but nothing came to my mind, which is very unusual for me. I read the quote again and thought, ‘What am I going to write?!!!’ And the questions of the first four verses flowed quickly. As I was writing them I was thinking this is way too negative! – I try not to have anything negative in my poems unless it is really needed to tell the story or help explain a concept. But, I knew that as there were questions, I would go on to answer them.

The answer verses followed easily but then I was writing about the ‘dark side’ in more detail than I would like. I finished the poem and didn’t even bother to print it out, I just let it go, thinking it was all too negative. Usually when I am not happy with a poem I continue straight on to write another with the same quote, I was thinking this would be so easy to do with this one, as I already knew I could write about coincidences. However, nothing flowed, so I gave up.

The following day I had another attempt to write a poem with the same quote, but still nothing!  It was interesting that I just couldn’t seem to get the words for a quote that I knew I could write so much about! So, I re-read the first one and gave it some thought…

If I truly believe – and I do – that ‘Nothing Is By Chance‘ – then I was supposed to write this poem and not one about coincidences.  And, if I truly believe in what I wrote – and I do – then I should share it… negativity and all!

By the way, because of the way this one developed, I also believe that once this poem is published I will easily write another using the same quote.. so watch out for that one too!

Update 8th May 2023 – The Great Awakening

As you can see from ‘About This Poem’ above, this was a turning point in my writing. As I am going through all of my poems to add this new category of ‘The Great Awakening,’ there have been many previous to this one that fit, but this is the first one where I mention the illuminate-elite and their fearsome manipulation. I knew it was around this time that I began to include more of this subject (and not try to stick totally to positivity) but, until reading this today I had forgotten how I realised this was my new path forward. I am thankful I added this additional section to my poem posts as many other posts contain things I’d forgotten too!

About This Poem

I have learned and come to understand how the Law Of Attraction works mostly through the teachings of Abraham-Hicks, which is why I am drawn to using their quotes as titles and themes of my poems. This quote is one that that many find hard to get their head around when first hearing of the Law Of Attraction, and needs full understanding to implement into everyday life. 

By giving attention to anything you don’t like, or want, in your life, you are actually going to bring yourself more of the same! Of course, it’s impossible to never think of, or see anything you don’t like, but by being aware of your thoughts and feelings about things, enables you to choose whether to continue with the thought or change it to something that feels better. In fact, knowing what you don’t want, is kind of essential to knowing what you do want, just don’t spend too much time on the negative! 

Update 29th April 2023 – The Great Awakening

I am adding this poem to my new category of ‘The Great Awakening’ as it teaches how we create our reality and by focusing too much on the things we don’t want we will create more of the same.

As so many terrible revelations are coming forth it is very easy to get sucked into spending too much time sharing this information – which is needed – but there has to be a greater focus of drawing your own attention to the good in all things. I do my best to keep in mind that with all of the atrocities being revealed it gives us the opportunity to rid our world of things that have long been kept undercover. Therefore there is a good reason for humanity to be going through this ordeal.

Love & Light is succeeding in overpowering the dark. The darkness cannot exist when Light is shone upon it.

About This Poem

As this quote is rather long I did consider just using the last part ‘Our Life Is The Creation Of Our Mind,’ but once I began writing I knew I would use the whole quote. 

When I first learned of The Law Of Attraction I was also discovering how much we are manipulated and controlled.  I could see my past in a new light, which also gave me a knowing of how I wanted to change my life. For a while I focused too much on all the wrongs in our world, but I came to realize that whatever has happened in the past, whether it’s my personal past, the atrocities evident in history, or even globally in the present day, by focusing on any of it brings more of the same.

And the only way forward is to bless the past for the lessons it has brought, send love, compassion and forgiveness to ALL those involved, then let it all go! By focusing on being happy, at peace. and flowing love to all, in each and every present moment, is the path I now choose to follow.

Update 7th May 2023 – The Great Awakening

My ‘About This Poem’ notes above were written around the time this was posted (September 2018). Although in the time of ‘The Great Awakening.’ it is obviously before the worldwide PLANdemic, so it had not ramped up to the proportions of people who have Awakened since 2020 to the ‘atrocities evident in history, or globally in the present day,’ Everything needs to come to Light so humanity can see what has been going on undercover for so very long. But, it is vitally important that we remember the whole of this quote to create a New Earth of Love & Light and not to remain focused on the wrong-doings of the past.

The beginning of this poem talks of my own Awakening, how I lived ‘plodding on through life,’ by absorbing the patterns of people around me. We all do this, until we make the conscious intention to be guided by our Inner Knowing. Of course, there are many different ways that people begin to ‘Awaken,’ and an even greater number of things to learn of through Awakening.

Many believe they are ‘Awake’ because they know of the control and manipulation, but this is only a small part of ‘The Great Awakening.’ I believe the greatest part is in knowing we are Source/God Energy and Love is our core essence. And, only time will tell how many other things we need to ‘Awaken’ to!

About This Poem

When I began collecting quotes for my original website of Spiritual Quotes To Live By I came across this one from Elizabeth Barrett Browning and added it because I liked it.  I realize now that I never really understood the meaning. Through learning more about the Law of Attraction since 2010, I now clearly see that by living today focused on love, peace and happiness will more easily bring a tomorrow full of the same.

I write poems using quotes as the title and theme to add interest to my website, back in 2016 (when this was written) I was working my way through a list of quotes. Sometimes when I’m writing I get other ideas for using the same quote, or I might not be totally happy with the first poem so I’ll write another. This was the second poem on this quote, here is the first one.

Assimilation

Babies are born into this world
As pure Spirits, into our care
Most think of them as totally helpless
But they are Awake and Aware

It’s true they need to be looked after
The physical body takes time to train
Unlimited potential lies ahead for them
After mastering their body and brain

But these unique and pure Spiritual Beings
Are learning and adapting as they grow
Throughout pregnancy, birth and early years
They assimilate everything you show

We are all essentially Spiritual Beings
Therefore words and actions do not convey

About This Poem

Many of my poems are about babies and children because they have been the main focus of my adult life. I had my three children at a young age and became a grandmother at thirty-six, my oldest grandchild is now an adult (21 this year) with others ever fast approaching!

One of the main things I wish I had known all those years ago when my children were born was that they are like sponges, taking in everything around them with no filters. I guess at an unconscious level I knew this because I was always wary of what was going on around them. But I never understood that it wasn’t just my words and actions, but my thoughts and feelings that had an effect on them. It’s all so clear to see now in their adult lives snippets of reflections of how I was back then.

And now in my grandchildren I see them develop as mini versions of their parents and the people that surround them. I always knew that we are influenced by the way we are brought up, but I never realized the extent of how it all programs our minds. 

Although, another interesting point is that some people who have had unstable or even terrible upbringings are able to put their focus on achieving everything opposite to their personal experiences. Two wonderful examples of this are Wayne Dyer and Anthony Robbins. Wayne Dyer had an alcoholic father who left his family of three children under four, his mother couldn’t cope so she sent one child and Wayne to a series of foster homes, and the other to live with a grandmother.  Wayne chose to perceive this experience as a lesson in self-reliance. Anthony Robbins childhood was abusive and poor, it was an anonymous gift of a food basket on Thanksgiving (when he was still a child) that changed his life, as he then set his focus on being able to help others in the same way.

Update 3rd May 2023 – The Great Awakening

This poem highlights why the dark have focused much of their attention on children. Children are the adults of our future and by programming them from childhood it is a very easy and simple step to manipulate them to be compliant as adults.

The educational system teaches children by filling their minds with facts and figures (not needed by the greater majority for their adulthood), that there are only right or wrong answers (no questioning of perception etc..) that passing exams is the only way to be successful (there are numerous definitions of success) and especially to be compliant to people of ‘authority’ (we should be able to question all people of ‘authority’ as to their intentions, morals etc…)

At the moment much is coming to Light of the terrible mutilation of children from the adgenda of teaching children that if they are not happy it’s because they are living the wrong gender. Very young children are being subjected to drag queens, inappropriate sex education, using pro-nouns for identity etc.. while their minds are extremely impressionable. Until about seven years of age, children accept everything as real and a truth to them, they have not started to develop a questioning mind, everything goes directly to their sub-conscious mind as their ‘truth.’

What is happening to our children at this moment in time is atrocious, however, it is a part of The Great Awakening because if there is anything that will stir up people to take a stand, it is in protecting their precious children. As the Light overpowers the dark, we will create a New Earth where the last verse of my poem will be dominant.

We absorb from those around us
Their beliefs, it builds our core

About This Poem

Sometimes (often in the morning on waking up) I get the title of a poem just come to me, and it will keep coming to mind until I write it. I awoke with this title a few weeks ago after someone told me of something very unusual they had seen as a child.

A few days ago I wrote ‘What Would Love Do Now? but after finishing and reading through, I thought it just wasn’t right. I don’t like to finish with not being happy with my writing, but I know the best thing to do is leave it alone and write something else.  My computer wasn’t on to get a quote, so I just went for the words that have been hanging around waiting to be spoken! The interesting thing is that the next day I re-read the first poem and knew there was nothing wrong with it, it seems I just had to get this one done!

Although I have been using some of my poems on my other site since 2010, I very rarely wrote about unusual happenings or my spiritual messages etc.. I knew that some people would think them strange, wrong or nonsense! So, I held back. But when I linked up with Amira (bodyandsoulnourishmentblog) and started this blog I just felt differently about sharing everything, so now I just follow my intuition. Bless you and thank you Amira for the Light you have shone into my life in such a short time – I would not be sharing this poem, or my truths, if not for you. 

I have had this poem in draft ready to add for a couple of days now, but for some reason I have known that it was not the time to publish. For whatever the reason, today is the day! 🙂

Speaking My Truth –  (things that come to mind as I write this)

I have experienced the indescribable all-encompassing love flow through my body that ebbed away when I began to question it, but left me on a love-high for days after.

I have received countless messages from Spiritual Mediums that have proven to me we do not die, they have told me things that no one else knew, and things that have shaped my future life.

I believe I am guided in writing my inspirational poems, I have no idea who by, it could even be just me (my Higher-Self), I don’t feel it really matters who, as long as the message is of love and light.

I have had objects move in front of my eyes with no apparent cause (eg. keys in a bicycle lock coming out – for no reason – and horizontally moving about two feet before falling, this was indoors.

I have seen numerous un-explainable lights in the sky, moving in odd ways.

I have taken loads of photographs with orbs in them. I can take a photo with no orbs and then ask for them to appear and they usually do.

I have had many visualizations/daydreams of meeting with someone and receiving inspiring messages for myself. See the poem Insight for my first meeting.

I have been told by many that I have a calming influence on people.

I have only been angry once in my life. I have wondered about this often as I know you should not suppress emotions and I have tried to work through situations in my life that ‘should’ have caused anger, but I have come to the conclusion that it is just not a part of me and I just needed to experience it once as a learning.

If you read the comments below you will see that this poem was written for Amira, but at the time that I posted it she had not ‘Spoken Her Truth’ it was infact Amira who told me of seeing a UFO as a child. In one of our continuing synchronicities, Amira had written a poem about what she had seen, but was hesitant on publishing it until she read this poem. Update 8th May 2023 – The Great Awakening

At this time of The Great Awakening, especially with all of the censorship going on, it has never been so vitally important to Speak Your Truth. It is so very sad that it is taking thousands of excess deaths weekly to shake people Awake to realise they were manipulated to take an experimental jab that was never safe or effective. Ordinary people have been doing their best to share their tragic stories, but mainstream media will not speak the truth. Also, apart from Andrew Bridgen, MPs will not discuss this issue, calling him a conspiracy theorist, although all the data he shares is from Government and official sources (he also shared the data with all the press, but they ignore it).

The truth will eventually be known to the wider masses, but how many more deaths will be on the hands of the Government, Media and medical workers still giving these time-bomb shots?

Flowers Are Words That Even A Baby Can Understand

About This Poem

In 2011 I began to blog by writing about the photo-quotes I added to my website and Facebook page, both called Spiritual Quotes To Live By. I actually started it here on WordPress, but after awhile moved it over to my site.  For simplicity reasons, I thought it best to start with the first photo I added and work my way through, so that I knew exactly what I’d used. However, when taking a peek ahead to what was coming I would occasionally think ‘What on Earth am I going to write about that one?’ Always wanting to ‘go with the flow’ if I was stuck on what to write.. I didn’t. So there would sometimes be long gaps.

At the end of 2016, because I had began to write many more poems I decided to write a poem for each quote instead. That was before I had looked at what the next quote would be! When I saw this one it was definitely a ‘What can I write?’ moment! But after praying and asking for guidance the words just flowed quite easily and I was really pleased that the poem ended up covering so much with what at first seemed a difficult title!

About This Poem

I had written several poems in late 2001 using the Core Concepts from Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walsch as the title and theme. On this day in June (the following year), I had just written God Talks To Everyone to add to my list and then wanted to do another poem, but the concept/quote that was getting my attention was much too long to use as a title:
