You Are The Light Of The World

We are all born shining bright
Oozing our pure Divinity Light
Babies are a source of Loving Joy
Each and every new girl and boy

As the years pass the Light within dims
But remains steadfast, illumined within
Waiting for intuition to take a hold
Not just doing as we’ve been told

Once we set on our true life-path
There’s more to life, we Love and laugh
Knowing Source will guide our way
Our Light grows stronger day-by-day

Our inner Light regains its glow
Radiating out always on show
Drawing those who think alike
Sparks fly as matches strike

All this Light we constantly emit
Doesn’t fade, or droop or sit
It ignites flying high into the sky
Surrounding Earth in the blink of an eye

Always available to those in need
The Light is a constant source to feed
People whose Light seems to be fading
Taking in Light initiates mending

Our capacity to Love and share
Showing to all we truly care
Makes us sparkle and beam
United together as a team

Every Light is needed here
To eliminate hate and fear
We can do this, we are One
Together as blinding as the sun

All our Lights together combine
To make all of humanity shine
Exponentially we excel and grow
Together we make the Earth glow

As each Light joins to be a part
Of what we came here to start
The chains of negativity we break
More Souls we will Awake

Your Light is a precious part
Of your Soul, felt in your Heart
So let it out, uncovered, unfurled

About This Poem

I wrote this poem straight after Teach Only Love, as with that poem, I didn’t have anything in mind to write for this part. But, it all fell into place after I visited Amira’s blog! (you can read more details on Teach Only Love).

Yesterday as I was writing about Lightworkers, in my comment to Amira, I had forgotten that the previous day I’d written ‘You Are The Light Of The World’ – yes, I know it was in my mind somewhere! but I wasn’t thinking about it. – Later in the day I made a picture with the whole poem, but then realized that by taking just three verses it made a short poem on the Lightworker theme, so following the synchronicities I chose to use this one instead. I don’t think I would of noticed this inner-poem without the connection with Amira.

Update 7th May 2023 – The Great Awakening

This poem is an obvious choice to add to the category of The Great Awakening as the whole poem is about why we are here in our current time and how by shining our Light we grow in numbers and united we will change our world.
