About This Poem
As a young child I was extremely shy, my parents could not take me anywhere without my screaming tantrums! My only memory of this is of holding my bent arm up to my face, covering it so no one could see me. I began to change upon starting school and over the years my confidence improved. However, I have always been someone who is much more relaxed, happiest and peaceful when I am at home.
I have no concern about being alone, although I do appreciate that this could be different if I was living alone for years on end. I enjoy doing so many things that there is always something to do.I guess I have always been a ‘loner,’ but it took many years for me to accept this as I tried to fit in. So, to me this vision was very meaningful as I often questioned my preference to being alone rather than ‘out there.’ I knew I was being guided to push myself to be more socialable. But, as the years passed I remained in my comfort zone.
This theme then came up again in a vision from 2019, On or Off The Train is my poem about this one. As it happened after myBirthday Revelation it is not James but Jesus mentioned in the poem.
Still, I have not ventured ‘out there,’ the craziness since 2020 made it even harder to spend time with those I love, and along with no transport for nine months, I have been even more alone than before! However, I do believe that our world is changing and at some point I will be getting ‘out there’ and these past visions were given to me for guidance and all will become clear in Diving Timing.

A constant theme of Kryon (channelled through Lee Carroll) is of how we are not aware of how magnificent we all are, so much more powerful than we can imagine.
With what has occurred over the past two years it is becoming more and more known of how humanity has been manipulated and dumbed down throughout our lives (and the lives of those before us).
The ones who had gained control of all the systems never wanted any of us to be aware of our true power. We are the Creators of our world, so by keeping our attention focused on fear/lack/survival they aimed to gain total control over our lives.
Each day the Light becomes stronger as more people come to realise that we are the ones we’ve been waiting for. In unity, we will create our New Earth of Love & Light, the darkness cannot exist with the strength of our combined Light, for we are “Made in the image of God, perfectly magnificent in every way!“
In life we all walk roads That are difficult to us Individual in our perceptions To others, may cause no fuss Thought’s, beliefs, attitudes All create our reality We are all on a journey Here on Earth to ‘BE’

This past year has been difficult and challenging for so many people worldwide, but I truly believe our destination will be more beautiful than we have ever dreamed possible!
We all chose to be here on Earth at this time, knowing there would be very difficult roads, full of dangers. The only way to safely travel is to have a Heart full of Love, Light and Compassion and keep positive as much as possible, while focusing on the beautiful world that awaits us… just around the bend!
A King born in a stable A magical story to behold Throughout the many centuries The telling still never grows old
No grandeur at the birth To be seen with an Earthly eye Only a large guiding star Shone brightly in the sky
But there was a great rejoicing Going on in dimensionality Angels, many Beings of Light Were there, the Babe to see

About This Poem
In the mid-nineties I began to go to various Christian Spiritualist Churches in Oxfordshire. I have mainly gone only occasionally, apart from a few years in the nineties.
The reasons I enjoyed going were:
I received an abundance of evidence of life after death. Especially amazing were the many things I was told that I did not know, or had no meaning to me, but later when I spoke to my parents, they would confirm them to be true.
I was given many messages that helped me, and because of the undeniable truth of the descriptions given of some of the people on the other side, I followed the advice given which has shaped my path.
I found it intriguing to see how different mediums worked and what they had to say, especially in their ‘address’ – a talk before sharing their gift with the congregation.
I felt the power of unity and faith when silent prayers of healing were offered to where there were needed.
I felt the joy and upliftment from singing positive hymns and songs with others – often with no music.
I didn’t know this hymn before going to Spiritualist Church, but it soon became one of my favourites! As you can see from the original hymn (below) the words were already positive – one of the reasons why I love it. So, I just made it more of an ‘Affirmation.’

I believe the largest part of ‘The Great Awakening’ is in acknowledging we are powerful sparks of God. About This Poem
I decided to write a new quote poem and this one really stood out to me from my list. I started to write but I was not happy with the way it was going. I had written the first verse as acrostic, but the other verses I was writing with each one focusing on each different letter of LOVE. So I took a short break and went back to it and realized that all the verses had to be acrostic!
This short poem is very much about what is going on at this time. LOVE is truly our way forward as we navigate our way through the seemingly never-ending onslaught of revelations coming forth. At our core we are Beings of Love, and living each day affirming this with our thoughts, words and actions will be the quickest way shine our powerful Light onto the darkness to eliminate it and manifest our New Earth of Love being the dominant force for all of humanity.

About This Poem
At the moment I have quite a few new poems to add, and I had not made a decision as to which one I would add this weekend. However, this morning I woke in the early hours with this hymn being sung on my mind! There was no reason for this, but trying to get back to sleep it just kept on repeating until I accepted that this was obviously a sign I need to add this poem today! There are certainly other poems I would have chosen to add before this one, but for whatever reason, I now know this had to be the one!
Although the hymn is full of positivity, it is written from an aspect of lack – by asking for something, we are acknowledging that we lack it. So, my version focuses on already having, or being the various aspects – along with an ‘I AM’ to boost the power of creativity! As you can see, I wrote this in February, but today, as I re-read it, I notice how relevant it seems to so much of what I have been coming across lately..
NOW is the time for us to BE our Divine true selves and to ‘Speak Our Truth’ and shine our Light, Love, Peace and Forgiveness ‘For All To See’

It would take a massive spectacle To convince those of doubt Arriving in a Spaceship of Light Could that bring change about?
But then there would be hype Of an ‘alien’ attack The Son of God perceived Through a veil of thick black
So how can His presence Physically show up today? But, if He was here now What would He say?
The core of His message Has never changed, and never will ‘Love Everyone, Unconditionally’ And Hearts, with Light will fill
He has been coming to many Throughout two thousand years Not in groups to preach But to each silently He nears
Feeling the All-Encompassing-Love Or seeing His Presence of Light Some are Blessed with the physical Others in visions so bright

About This Poem
When I first wrote this poem I was very unsure about sharing it.
However, on Thursday evening (just before Good Friday!) I read a message from Amanda Ellis posted in her new Facebook group for people who believe that Michael Jackson was/is a Lightworker, she spoke of how Jesus would be perceived if He came to Earth now, and how He would probably be treated in much the same way as Michael Jackson was. As this is a part of my poem, and I quote ‘Heal The World’ from Michael – I knew this was a sign for me to definitely share my poem too. And with it being Easter, obviously Divine Timing!
As mentioned above, Michael Jackson is one of the men I speak about in the poem, the other is David Icke. Both men have been severely set up and ridiculed over the years. And now, in this time of ‘The Great Awakening’ this is a sign to take a look at anyone who is attacked by the mainstream. In more recent years the most ‘hated’ man in the media has been Donald Trump, so that should make you question, WHY?
I have followed a lot of what David Icke has said over the years because I was led to his work through the story of his own Spiritual Awakening. The first medium and healer whose books I read, which began my own Spiritual Awakening was Betty Shine. It was through her that I began to have my visions since 1999. So, when I learned she was the healer that David Icke went to see at the start of his Awakening, it confirmed to me the truth of his journey. Although he is mostly known for his contraversial topics, his core basis is that Love is the answer to all.
Affirming The Classics: based on Footprints In The Sand (author unknown)
One night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along a beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to me, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of my life flashed before me I looked back at the footprints in the sand I noticed that sometimes along the path of my life there was only one set of footprints.
Then I realized that it was when I moved closer to the Lord and our footsteps combined, that I was happier. These were the times in my life I felt an abundance of love, gratitude and peace.
The Lord said to me: “You are my beloved, precious child of the Light. I Am with you now and forever, but you always have freewill to follow your own path. My footprints are there beside you, to guide you, if you choose. No matter what, I will always love you unconditionally.

About This Poem
My last post Footprints Of Lightwas my first poem of Affirming The Classic of Footprints In The Sand. In the ‘About’ section of the post I told of my experience in having a new vision of Footprints. As I was writing it, I also knew I would be doing this version, which is very much closer to the original.
As I said previously – The original Footprints poem depicts our helplessness in facing the struggles of life, we are picked up and carried by the Lord to see us through. But, we are now stronger and no longer need to be carried. Instead we are now able to accept our Divinity and walk alongside His footsteps, using our freewill to consciously walk in His way.
And of course, however we chose to live our lives, we are eternally loved unconditionally.
Update: Although this poem is very close to the original, it was only re-written due to a vision I had, so I have included it with my other poems of these experiences. Affirming The Classics: based on Desiderata by Max Ehrmann
Wherever I Am, I remain calm and tranquil. I Am always at peace in the silence of my heart. I accept all people just as they are. My Unconditional Love and Light flows in Oneness.
I speak my truth clearly with an open heart. I listen attentively to all the people I meet… We exchange our stories and always learn something from the experience. My energy of Love and Light attracts only those on the same vibrational path. Incase you haven’t read my recent posts, I am re-writing some of my favourite classic inspirational poems to make them into Affirmations.
I first heard the words of Desiderata in 1972 when I was eleven. The song by Les Crane was in the UK charts, so for several weeks it was being played often on the radio. I really loved some of the words and they stuck with me through my life, so when I began to collect inspirational quotes and poems in the early 90’s, this was one of the first I searched for. Although I always liked the poem, it never completely felt right to me. It was when I learned of the Law of Attraction that I discovered why: so much of it is negatively focused. Here is the original poem by Max Ehrmann with the two parts I always remembered in bold…
Go placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others – even the dull and ignorant – they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble, it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is, many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

I’m fascinated now thinking back (as I write this), I can see that the words I remembered have shaped my life…
“Go placidly amid the noise and haste” Throughout my adult years, I have been told by many different people that I have a calming presence “and remember what peace there may be in silence.” I have always enjoyed the silence of being alone.
“You are a child of the Universe, no less than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be here.” In more recent years I have come to discover that not feeling ‘worthy’ has been a negative trait that has run through my whole life. I believe I clung to these words as they helped me to feel better about myself. But also, even before I heard these words, I had began to be drawn towards certain trees. In later years my love of trees grew and also my awe of the overwhelming magnitude of a sky full of stars, with all it’s potential!
“And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the Universe is unfolding as it should.” It was to be many years before I truly understood these words. The Law Of Attraction and that no matter what happens in our lives – All Is Well – are now two very important parts of my passion in writing to inspire others.
Did I attract those traits from the words impregnated in my mind? Or, was I attracted to them (to be installed) because they were a part of who I was destined to become? It seems to me to be like the ‘chicken and egg’ question!

Desiderata means things that are desired/wanted, so I named my version Desiderata Fulfilled as an affirmation of achieving these things. I am adding this poem to my new category of ‘The Great Awakening.’ as I believe these are the desires for a world of Love and Peace, by focusing on them as affirmations gives them greater power, as the ‘I AM’ acknowledges the God/Source power within us.
At this difficult time, with so much negativity going on, it is so very important to keep our vibrations as high as possible, which I believe this poem aides. It certainly helps me to feel positive!

I have always loved the original poem by St Francis:
Make me a channel of your peace Where there is hatred let me bring your love Where there is injury, your pardon Lord And where there’s doubt, true faith in You.
Make me a channel of your peace Where there’s despair in life let me bring hope Where there is darkness, only light And where there’s sadness ever joy
O Master grant that I may never seek So much to be consoled as to console To be understood as to understand To be loved as to love with all my Soul

It is amazing to think that these beautiful words were written so long ago (St Francis 1181 – 1226) but are still so relevant in the world we live in today.
This poem is the only one I have in clear view at my desk, to remind me of how I want to live my life. But, in recent times, when I read it, I notice that although it speaks so clearly of the qualities I desire, and of how the powerful Law of Attraction works, it doesn’t ‘affirm’ these things. The negative aspects are mentioned and it is written as a plea of something to achieve, rather than an ‘Affirmation of Being.’
I had been thinking of doing some Affirmation re-writes on some of my favourite poems for quite awhile now. The other day in my notebook I found a simpler version of this one, written in January 2018, that I’d forgotten about (I will add this soon). But when I read it through I thought it was too wishy-washy and I wanted to bring more depth of meaning and to convey our own personal connection with whoever we are praying to. (God, Spirit, Jesus etc..)
Looking at these two re-writes I can see the growth I have made in a year. In the first I tried to stick clearly to the original with simply affirming the statements. My insecure thoughts were: Who am I to think I should re-write such a renowned inspirational poem? Which is probably why I never did anything with it, or have a go at re-writing any more.
But now, I feel more powerfully in alignment with Source to be able to proclaim these words, knowing I create my world with my thoughts and beliefs. I no longer just wish to achieve these goals of love, forgiveness, faith, hope, light, joy, understanding, and of course, peace, but instead I chose to consistently affirm my eternal connection and BE these attributes.
By the way, the poem may seem a little repetitive with lots of – ‘I Am’s – but this is for a reason: I AM announces the presence of God within.

About This Poem
I definitely wanted to write some new poems for this Christmas and after writing a couple on handmade gifts I knew I needed to write one that focused on the actual reason we celebrate Christmas. I also didn’t want to write one that was too long so that I could use it for my Christmas card.
Making myself a cup of coffee before settling down to write, I gave the poem some thought and knew I wanted to start it with ‘At Christmas time we celebrate the birth of Jesus who came to Earth’ so I quickly jotted that down before I forgot!
Sat drinking my coffee I was thinking how I have recently felt more comfortable with the name Jeshua instead of Jesus, so I Googled names for Jesus and decided to write a list of the ones I found that appealed to me. There were twenty one, with so many to choose from I thought I might be able to include a few of these in the poem. Interestingly, Jeshua didn’t come up but Yeshua did.
Once I was ready to start I prayed and asked for guidance (as I usually do) but this time I also asked for guidance from Jeshua and began to feel very emotional. Not wanting to get caught up in the tears (of joy) that I could feel surfacing, I gave thanks and started to write. The list of names was beside me and I knew straight away to use ‘Son Of God’ in the opening sentence (rather than Jesus). Although I had previous ideas about some of the things I wanted to cover in the poem, I now knew that this poem was going to include many of these names. I looked at the long list and thought there was no way I could do an inspirational rhyming poem with all these names that wasn’t too long! Of course, my doubts were soon cleared as the words flowed, and it wasn’t too long before I realized every one was used, including the meaning of Emmanuel which I had also noted. Writing the last verse it dawned on me that I hadn’t added to the original list: Jesus and Christ, but then knew this was obviously the title.
The next day I posted a Christmas poem I’d written in 2016. I hadn’t read this poem since last Christmas so I was surprised when I read the first sentence: ‘Christmas is the time we celebrate the birth of the Son of God brought down to our Earth.’ My first thoughts were, no wonder that sentence came into my head and now I’ll have to change the new poem. But, after thinking more about it, I thought does it really matter?

Christmas Blessings of Love, Peace & Joy to you and all your loved ones.
From where do we come from? And at death, where do we go? These are the questions in life That we all want to know
Is there a God out there? We ask At times of suffering and woe How can he let these things happen to us If he truly loves us so?
Unconditional love is the key To unlock the mysteries of time God loves us unconditionally No matter what our crime
We have free will to do what we like We decide how we want to live We can do no wrong in God’s eyes There is no sin that God won’t forgive
This is very difficult for most to understand It doesn’t fit in with what we have been told We’re taught that God is to be feared – so don’t sin Do as they say, your life has to fit the mould
But we are all individuals Our lives aren’t supposed to be the same What’s good for one person might not be for another And nobody is to blame

About This Poem
This was one of my earlier poems and although it is not using a ‘Conversations With God’ (Neale Donald Walsch) quote I can see now that it was based on the teachings from these books. The idea that God sees no wrong-doing was new to me at that time, and writing about it helped me to absorb the teaching.
I had written the above paragraph and then thought I’d check my database to see how early the poem was, and how it fitted in with my Conversations With God poems. This was my second poem intentionally written without a specific event to prompt it, and I was surprised to find (although I shouldn’t have been really) that it was written the day before my first Conversations With God quote poems!
Sorting through my old poems to compile those that mention anything to do with ‘The Great Awakening’ that we are currently going through worldwide, I was pleasantly surprised to find this very early one fitted into this category. Programmed to ‘fit in’ with society is now being seen as the manipulation that has controlled man through the ages, and Loving all people unconditionally is one of the highest priorities to Awaken to.
Apart from non-compliance, sending unconditional Love to those who have carried out the darkest of deeds is the quickest way we will overpower the dark. They cannot exist in so much Light. We are all here to grow Spiritually, even those who have a very, very long way to go to even feel compassion for their fellow man. We do not know of their pre-birth intent for this lifetime, nor what they have endured throughout their life. Inside every Soul there is a spark of God, so send Love to that spark, and the dark will be overpowered by the Light.
God is all around us and eventually If you open your mind you will see The little things that show He is there Whenever we need an answer to a prayer
Know that He will answer, if you wait Have faith that He will communicate Be open to His wisdom everywhere you glance For nothing that happens in life is by chance
Quite unexpectedly one day It may come in something you hear or say Just listening to the radio or watching TV You’ll realize that this was meant to be
The answer may just drift into your mind God has many helpers who are always kind You may hear a whisper into your ear To let you know that God is always near

About This Poem
The ‘Conversations With God’ books by Neale Donald Walsch really resonated with me and struck a deep chord with my Inner-Knowing, so even the concepts that I had not come across before I took on, and began to understand their truth also.
In 2001 I had written just a few poems, but I thought it would be a great idea to write some more using some of the Core Concepts of the Conversations With God: Book One as the title and theme. This Concept attracted my attention because I had been noticing signs in answer to my questions for several years, so it was an easy one to write about.
The picture below I put together today. It was an easy choice of which photograph I should use, even though I have used it many times before! This dandelion was the first photograph I took that really opened my eyes and heart to nature, so for me it was a sure sign from Source in May 2010.
We’ve been arriving steadily as planned Each year our numbers grow strong As each generation brings forth more Lighted Souls, on Earth we will throng
Yes, it’s true all Souls are Lighted The All-That-Is is part of us all But some Lights are buried so deep Hidden from sight they flicker so small
We’ve come with a pure Inner Knowing That Love is the only true way to be No matter the way of the world Unconditional Love we want all to see
Growing up we tended to stand out Not necessarily in a ‘good’ way Our truth made us seem to shout “Look at me, I’ve something to say!”
We’ve come to change the system Ingrained in all those who sleep Through life, by following the herd The status quo they unknowingly keep
For we have been ruled for millennia By an elite force who’ve had control Of everything in life we seem to need They cast a veil over the sleeper’s Soul
These ‘Elite’ are the ones whose Lights Are buried so deep down within They’ve craved and perpetuated negativity And praised all misfortune and sin

About This Poem
After posting my last poem, Nothing Is By Chance, I had a lovely comment from Amira (BodyAndSoulNourishmentBlog) who I have been very much synchronistically aligned with since she started posting my poems several months ago. As I was writing my reply to her comment, I knew that what I was writing would make a very good theme for a poem.
“Another point that made me go ahead and share this one is that Blossom’s messages teach that we ‘Lightworkers’ will be needed when everything comes to light about what has been truly going on. In the confusion of those who were in the dark, our lights must shine to show the way – it’s what we came here for. And it makes sense not to wait till the last minute to turn on our light.”
The amazing thing is that this has happened several times before in our comments back and forth! And as the last poems states.. Nothing Is By Chance, so I got on straight away with writing it. The words flowed quickly – apart from having to stop to check on the precise definition of some words to ensure I was using them correctly. I always find this part so fascinating as words that I don’t normally use come to my mind and I think I know the definition, but check to make sure, and find they are a perfect fit!
I had the title ‘Shine Your Light’ at the start, but after writing it I wanted to emphasize that it’s now time for us to shine even brighter, so I changed it to ‘Switch To Full Beam.’ However, something led me to check the definition of ‘full beam’ and I discovered it is a British term and the American is ‘high beam,’ so that seemed a better fit!
Compiling my list of poems to include in this new category, this one obviously needed to be added.
I know that very few people actually see my poems, but I believe that by putting them ‘out there’ shares the energy of the words and this contributes to the build up of that vibration. So, I continue to write and add more to the collective consciousness without being concerned about ‘likes/shares’ etc..

About This Poem
The week before Mothers Day (in 2015) I sat to write a poem for my mum, but after asking for guidance what poured out instead was a poem about being a mother: ‘Those Moments I Treasure.‘ So, a few days later I had another go and this poem was the result. After praying for guidance I knew it would be a ‘Thank You’ poem, so I first wrote a list of all the things I wanted to say thank you for, then I just went with the flow and didn’t put them in any particular order.
I used photographs of me and my mum through the years to add to the poem to make a print for her. (below)
Of all the words to remember This is so important and true No matter what you are doing There is great love here for you
For the Source of All-That-Is Loves us all unconditionally If we open our hearts to receive it Love flows to us effortlessly
There is nothing we could do That would ever stop the flow We are given our birthright of freewill Regardless of anything, God loves us so
If only we could do as shown And give to all our unconditional love We would raise our vibrations up so high The Earth would become as Heaven above

About This Poem
‘There is great love here for you’ is stated at the end of every Abraham-Hicks session, so if you are someone who often listens or watches Abraham speak through Esther Hicks, (as I do) it is something that sticks in your mind, which is why when I began to write Abraham-Hicks quote poems it was an obvious choice.
I think it is such an important truth to fully comprehend that no matter who we are or what we could ever do, God/Source/All-That-Is (or whatever name you wish to use) will eternally love us unconditionally. That love is always present and always flowing to us, only we are the ones who block it with our limiting thoughts and beliefs.
This concept that there is always a Great Love for us is an important part of the Awakening process, which is why I am including it among my poems for ‘The Great Awakening.’ No matter what, God/Source and High Vibrational Spiritual Beings will always flow Love to us unconditionally, it is up to us whether to receive or block this flow.
Before we were both born We lived in a beautiful place So different from this world we know With no limits of time and space
We didn’t need a body To contain our energy We were free to explore ourselves In any way we’d like to be
We were just the same back then Not a child and their parent We were Beings of Love and Light Both powerful and magnificent
We had shared many lives before this one It’s so much fun to change things around You’ve been my brother, sister, parent, friend The different ways to be, that we had found

About This Poem
I think I was 11 years old when I began to question the religion I knew. (Christianity) I had been told (I can’t remember who by) that babies who were not Christened couldn’t be buried in a churchyard and this just didn’t make any sense to me. How could a pure innocent baby, newly entering this world, not be accepted by God? And then I remember pondering over the question of where are we before we are born? So, when I started to write some Spiritual Poems for children this was the first one I wanted to cover.
I am a firm believer in reincarnation, it just makes perfect sense and I have heard and read so many different stories of it over the years. I especially like the stories of young children who talk about past lives. I have been known to ask my grandchildren, once they were old enough to talk well, ‘Where were you before you were born?’ And, ‘Who were you before?’ but so far have not had any interesting answers! But, thinking about this now, I haven’t asked the more recent additions to the family, so I must do that!
The hearts on the picture below represent my three children (in this life!) and their offspring.
When I first started sorting my poems to add to ‘The Great Awakening’ category I missed this one. And yet, it is totally about being here at this time to Awaken to the truth of who we really are! I think because I’d written it for children I didn’t check out the words.
My three children (in their 40’s, all parents themselves) are in various stages of ‘Awakening.’ I was so sad to learn that one family took the experimental medication, I continually pray for their good health (especially as one has been affected by complete exhaustion for over a year now). I know we all have our own paths to follow, however, it is very hard to see your Loved ones being taken-in by the manipulation. The greater majority of my other family members also took the shots, many of them thinking I am a danger to them all.
One thing I have found very difficult is, should I share with family (who were jabbed) the harms that have been caused? I want to show them all of the reports etc.. so they are informed, BUT, knowing of the Law of Attraction, if they truly believed it was a good thing for them, then they are aiding their health to some degree, but if I share and they acknowledge that they have done something harmful to their body, then with the power of their minds they could create any of these harms for themselves. So, if I say anything at all (I’m considered a ‘conspiracy theorist’) I focus on other parts of The Great Awakening as the vacccine is just one of the many aspects.
The last verse of this poem is very fitting, we all ‘can make a mistake,’ even when we are doing our very best for our Loved ones.

About This Poem
As you can see from the date of this poem, it was just before Christmas. I had written a couple of Christmas poems a few days earlier but wanted to write another, so as usual, I prayed and asked for guidance and immediately I knew the title was The Message. I then asked for ‘the message’ and after writing it down I knew it was going to be included with each verse. I then wrote the rest. With the last little bit on the end I was unsure whether to include this, but after questioning myself, I knew it was part of the poem.
Over the years a few of my poems stand out to me because: the words were not intended when I sat to write, the words flowed easily without much thought, they often have some words that I am not sure about, and all of them I find inspiring, even many years later. This poem is one of them and I especially can see now how it speaks of The Great Awakening.
‘Embodying The Message our lives will arrange the course of history to make a great change,’ that change is certainly what we have been living these past three years. And, a very significant part of the ‘Awakening’ is for this eternal message to be known, affirmed and lived.

A baby contains an inherent, infinite Light That shines so brightly from it’s Soul Vividly luminous with Source Energy We’re captivated, adoring beyond control
Time advances, the baby becomes a child The Divine illumination begins to dim Their link to Source has been shadowed By the negativity they have taken in
As the child goes out into the big-wide world School and society’s control gets a strong-hold ‘Bright Sparks’ may seem to be encouraged But they too, must fit into the defined mould
Adolescence then adulthood urges onwards By now most Inner Lights have been blocked Conforming to everyone, but not their own desires Keeps the door to their Soul firmly locked
But remember, there is nothing wrong about this We planned our whole journey right from the start By learning to follow our own Inner Guidance in life We would retrieve the Light through our heart
One of life’s immense joys is parenthood Overwhelming gifts this path can bring Unconditional love its purest treasure Lifting the Spirit, the Soul will truly sing
Whatever path we choose to take No one else will be on the same It’s so important to remember this When focusing on your child’s aim
The Light inside them is also a compass It can guide them their whole life through Teaching them to choose right from wrong Inner Guidance is always clear in what to do

About This Poem
Sometimes I come across a quote that I just know I need to make into a poem. I write it down in my notepad that I keep just for my poems. – I prefer to hand-write in pencil first of all, I have tried typing straight away but it just doesn’t feel right! – I also keep a list on the front inside cover of any titles or ideas that come to me, this happens most often upon first waking. Anyway, this quote from Wayne Dyer was one that I knew would be a poem.
With this title the poem was obviously going to be about letting children use their own intuition, to be connected to their own inner light rather than follow the guidance of others, even though it is thought to be in their best interest.
After praying and asking for guidance my thoughts drifted to how babies are so mesmerizing as if we are under their spell and I realized it is because they exude Source, they are pure beings of light. But then why does that change? Why do we enter this world as the true beings we are but then become so much less? I hope this poem sheds some light on this and show that the only way to teach them to follow their own compass it to follow our own.
With each new day as I awoke Like a spark I’d remember you were here A smile would warm my face and heart Those moments I treasure, so clear

About This Poem
For all the special occasions I often write poems for my parents and put them in home-made cards using photographs of the family, they love this and with each one I do it seems they are more over-joyed. So, just before Mother’s Day in 2015, I sat to write a poem for my mum. However, after praying for guidance this poem was the result!
I was taken back, many years, to the excited feeling as I awoke and suddenly remembered I was pregnant, I loved being pregnant so this was a delight each morning. So, I just had to put that into words and then the rest of the poem followed on.
I gave my two daughters a print of the poem on a photo of me holding them as babies for Mother’s Day, as they are mother’s too.
Dear Mummy and Daddy, No matter what happens between us, during my childhood I will love you unconditionally.
You are my guide, my support, my lifetime anchor… for whatever becomes of me depends on our time together.
From you I will learn what love is. I will learn to be confident or shy, giving or selfish, loving or cruel. I will learn what is right and wrong, who I should respect and whether I should love and respect myself.
As I come into this world, into your tender care, I am a pure, clean sponge. I will soak up every look, every touch, every thought, every word, every feeling and they will mould me into the person that I will become.
So in the days, weeks, months and years ahead – please remember that – every thought, feeling, word, touch, and look… I will absorb.
If you treat me with love, caring, respect, tolerance, forgiveness and understanding – even when I do things wrong – then I will grow up into a kind, considerate, confident, loving, responsible, happy child and adult.
But if you treat me with intolerance, uncaring, harshness, words of anger and neglect… I will be… sad.

About This Poem
This was my first poem, apart from the words I wrote in 1993 (see: About This Blog). I wrote it the day my first grandchild was born on 22nd December 1997. I sat to write some words for the congratulations card to my son and his girlfriend, but instead these words just flowed out. I never gave it to them, but just filed it away!
Back then I had not heard of the Law Of Attraction, so I was amazed many years later when I pulled it out and found I had been writing about it so long before. Also, in the past few years I have been reading the work of people like scientist Bruce Lipton who now teach that children do indeed absorb everything, with no filters, for the first six years.

The Cycle Of Life The synchronicity of this first poem is amazing! I received the inspiration and wrote the letter on the day my granddaughter Jessica was born – the words turned out to be very meaningful for both of our lives, and her parents – and now, as an adult, Jessica is a qualified Midwife delivering newborns into the world! Jessica is very aware of The Law Of Attraction and is interested in all things Spiritual. She has a beautiful personality, full of compassion and caring, so I’m sure her Light shines on all those whose life she ‘touches.’
