Don’t Stumble Over Something Behind You

About This Poem

Lately I’ve been fascinated by reading the poems I wrote in 2019 (the year before our world changed) and their revelence to what has been happening. Today, looking for a poem to add (from the titles in my drafts list) this one grabbed my attention and after reading the poem I knew it was the one for today, as it’s so relevant to my life for the past few years and especially my recent notice of my ‘stumble!’

Once I began to understand the Law of Attraction (2010) I would only write about positvity, apart from slightly mentioning the opposite for clarity. Then in a series of synchronicities (that confirmed to me to continue) in summer 2018 I began to write about the darkness that has dominated our world for centuries, but is now being eliminated by the Light.

From the very start of the ‘plandemic’ what we were being told made no sense to me, so I never believed the media or government. However, I soon found out that something was indeed going on and only time would tell for it all to come out into the open. Back in 2020 I thought it would all be coming to Light by 2021, so I began to daily check-in with the ‘news’ to see what was being said. I had not followed the news at all since learning of the Law of Attraction as I knew it was focused on high drama and negative stories. I knew it was used to manipulate the masses and was also not based on truth. However, I believed that by dipping in daily I could find out how things were going for the good, but not be sucked into the negativity because I chose to focus on the Light.

Then, in 2021 I came to realise that it was going to take much longer because the only way for the masses of people to wake up to what has been going on is to show them, letting them experience the obsurdities in their own lives. If the truths were given suddenly, laying it all out bare for everyone to see, there would be such a mass shock to the majority of people that it would cause too much harm in so many ways. However, I continued to daily check-in with what was being put out there for the masses. There were some indications of truths coming out, so I was ever hopeful that ‘soon’ it would all flow.

And into 2022 I continued as before, but I distracted myself from the worldly going-ons by putting a lot of my time doing something I enjoyed (family tree research) and that helped. As the months passed – so fast – I realised that I was not as positive and uplifted as I used to be, and had no desire to write any new poems.

On 22nd July, just glancing through my Facebook feed I came across this quote and although it was something I already ‘knew,’ it really HIT me and from that day I stopped looking at any mainstream news.

You cannot look at that which you do not want and not join and perpetuate that vibration. Take your attention from that which is not in harmony with who you are, and your ‘now vibration’ will adjust to who you really are – and then you can uplift others. – Abraham-Hicks

I realised that by putting my daily attention on the news, however short a time and my focus, I was regularly ‘joining and perpetuating that vibration.’ I also acknowledged that by following several ‘Truthers’ I was continually waiting for something to happen, instead of living my own truth. So I drastically reduced watching them, being very selective on where I put my attention. Just doing these two things, in only a few days I began to notice a difference in how I felt, for the better.

Today before writing this part of my post, I wrote my first poem of this year, and ‘being selective on where I put my attention’ is what it’s all about! (not intended as I wrote that) At the moment it’s called ‘Your Menu.’

I could wish I’d noticed by stumble over something behind me much sooner than I did, but “Life is full of challenges, no one has an easy path, accepting this simple truth, can bring a smile and a laugh!” I was never sure about the last line of the first verse on this poem, which is why it’s been waiting in my drafts for over three years. Now it’s more evidence of Diving Timing (for me) as today these words fit so perfectly, as I smile and even laugh at my humaness in not following my own advice!

Update 26th May 2023 – The Great Awakening

As I go through adding relevant poems to this category (and for a book) this one obviously needed to be included, not only because we truly need to focus on moving forward, but also my ‘About This Poem’ observations of my own stumbling noticed last year!

I still don’t follow mainstream news etc.. and also do my best to steer clear of alternative speakers of doom & gloom. I truly believe we are heading for a beautiful world full of Love & Light, but, to get there Light has to be shone on the darkness to eliminate it, while we remain focused on our road ahead.

About This Poem

A constant theme of Kryon (channelled through Lee Carroll) is of how we are not aware of how magnificent we all are, so much more powerful than we can imagine.

With what has occurred over the past two years it is becoming more and more known of how humanity has been manipulated and dumbed down throughout our lives (and the lives of those before us).

The ones who had gained control of all the systems never wanted any of us to be aware of our true power. We are the Creators of our world, so by keeping our attention focused on fear/lack/survival they aimed to gain total control over our lives.

Each day the Light becomes stronger as more people come to realise that we are the ones we’ve been waiting for. In unity, we will create our New Earth of Love & Light, the darkness cannot exist with the strength of our combined Light, for we are “Made in the image of God, perfectly magnificent in every way!“

About This Poem

Opening the door within is our true task for life here on our planet of duality. This is a great Awakening and once that door is fully opened it is easy to accept and understand that there really is no death. The misunderstanding has come from our forgetting this when we are born, and being in a dense world of duality there has to be an opposite to ‘life’ and so we created ‘death’ to be a non-existence.

At our present time ‘death’ is a fear that is being powerfully fuelled by governments and mainstream media worldwide. This ultimate fear grips and clutches tightly to people’s minds and makes them easier to control. Once this fear is eliminated it allows us to think and see from a Higher Perspective and be able to look for answers that are not just daily fed to us.

Little Ripples Of Connection

It’s the little things in life
Often done without a thought
That can make all the difference
The falling ripples are caught…

Just a simple Loving smile

About This Poem

My aim as I sat to write this poem was to speak of the little things we do that can make a difference. Then, as I was writing I got the ‘ripples to fall’ and knew it needed to be included with each verse. However, this just didn’t seem complete until I knew they needed to also speak of ‘Connection’ and so that part was added. 

Once the poem was finished I was unsure of how it read, so thought I’d just leave it and go back another time. I am surprised to see how long it was until I looked at it again.. over seven months! Reading it again, I expected to be making some changes, but it all seemed okay to me. But, what I do find interesting is that the CONNECTION part is much more significant to me now, so perhaps that is why I’ve waited, Divine Timing playing its part!

Those seven months have certainly sped by so extremely fast, but I also know that my CONNECTION (to Spirit) has become stronger in that time too. I have chosen to leave it as written back then, but if I were writing now I would emphasize how these ‘Ripples Of Connection’ are a way of radiating and sharing our Light, which is so needed right now on this planet.

I wrote the above about a week ago but for several reasons have not got around to posting. Today, reading it through before finally posting, I’ve just noticed the date (14th) making it eight months to the day it was written!  Synchronicity flows!

About This Poem

The title of this poem just popped into my head one day, so I wrote it down with a note that it would be a sympathy poem.

I was reminded of how I received a message from my grandmother at Spiritualist church (she died when I was six), With the description of her and what was said, I had no doubt that it was her, but what stuck in my mind most was her saying that when she was alive she would never have set foot in a Spiritualist Church, but now she was so happy to be able to speak to me at one! 

When I was writing the poem, I was about half way through when I realized it was not just about someone who has died, but also about babies at birth too.

I believe all babies come with this inner-knowing, so fresh from Source it is the reason they shine so bright and we are so intoxicated by them. In our dense world, and with all of the negative programming that has continued throughout the ages, the majority of children loose their inner-knowing as they grow up. Although, of course, it can be re-awakened at anytime.

I also believe that we are now in a time where children are able to hold onto these truths. Many of the arrivals so far have been given the ‘labels’ of crystal, indigo or rainbow children, but I believe the majority of babies will soon be able to sustain their Light throughout childhood and into adulthood.

Father: The Changing Role

Each generation brings change
To all the roles of family
As each new unit forms
Different ways are clear to see

We are moulded by the experiences
Shaped in our early childhood
Our parents views of their roles
Became the truth we understood

Different families merge
In life, their ways and goals
May differ, so children change
Their perception to new roles

Also, over time societies grip
Has loosened its stranglehold
Now more people are fully aware
They don’t have to fit to the mould

In my grandfathers generation
Men had to be hard and strong
Physically and emotionally
Showing emotion deemed to be wrong

Financially supporting their family
Through all the trouble and strife
War an ever-present reality
Burying emotion was a fact of life

And now three generations later
The change and growth is clear to see
My son and nephews, many fathers
Demonstrating devotion to their family

Expressing words of love to their children
Cuddling and kissing even into adulthood
It’s beautiful to see and know
The role of father has changed for the good

The two generations in-between
My father and brothers are a part
Of this great change I perceive
As love worked to open their heart

Through the years it continues on
Working it’s way in both directions
The younger and older generations
Continue to grow in love perceptions

About This Poem

With Father’s Day approaching I wanted to write something new for the day. It’s easy for me to write a poem for Mothers as I have the experience of being one, but obviously I do not know what it is like to be a Father! I can only write from the perspective of the father relationships that I know of in my family.

My son has the most beautiful relationship I know of for a father and daughter. His relationship with her mother didn’t last more than a few months into her life, but he was able to regularly have his daughter stay over. Interestingly, this was due to the lack of contact her mother had with her father who had left when she was little, so she wanted her daughter to have a father in her life.

My granddaughter is now in her twenties and lives quite far away, but she always comes to stay with her dad several times during the year. It is so wonderful to see how close they are: talking about anything and everything, and doing things together. Obviously, as she gets older and hopefully begins a family of her own she won’t have as much time for her dad, but I know the bond they share will always be there, no matter what.

Update 25th May 2023 – The Great Awakening

I am adding this poem to ‘The Great Awakening’ collection as it brings to focus the changes of Fatherhood over the years. Most men (who are present in their children’s lives )have adapted to take on a larger and more demonstratively Loving role. This is a wonderful step forward in creating our New Earth of Love & Light.

However, I believe the role of Mother has been very manipulated over the past few generations to make women feel that having children is a burden and a Mother cannot be satisfied with just raising her family and not ‘working’ at a job. Part of the psy-op has been to make people more materialistic, so to be able to afford the items, holidays etc.. both parents ‘need’ to work to be able to afford everything, therefore, placing babies and young children in daycare becomes a necessity.

Manipulating ideas sprang forth such as the children are learning to socialise and Mothers can have some ‘quality’ time with their children in the evenings before bed. But, in reality the babies and young children are missing out on the vitally important early years of development when they absorb everything they experience as their ‘truth’ that will shape their entire life. These babies/children are being brought up by various people who can no way match the Loving vibrations they receive from their parents. They are being adapted to live in a society where they have to fit into the mold, follow the rules and not go against anything they are told to do… perfect citizens for the New World Order!

I believe part of The Great Awakening is in parents learning of and acknowledging the vital role they play in their children’s lives. Those early years are so precious and all should be done to ensure their children are experiencing each and every day absorbing the Highest Vibration of living.

A Father’s Role

A Father’s role for his daughter
Is so important and crucial too
She constantly learns so much from him
He is a guide, her whole life through

I was Blessed with you as my Father
God knew the grander, greater plan
Bringing us together for this life
For this role, there could be no other man

The early years were a testing time
As your family developed and grew
I was also beginning to learn, many
Lessons in love and life from you

You’d grown up in another era of time
When men demonstrating love was frowned upon
Of course love was felt, but it was not shown to all
Unchallenged, these family concepts can linger on

There were times that I felt a bit awkward
I didn’t show my love and affection for you
But now I know, this was just a life challenge
Now achieved, Love has not limits, it’s true

There are some things we don’t agree upon
But as I grew up, you would listen to me
Not judging or pushing your own opinions
You’ve given me strength to be who I want to be

Life brought us closer together for many years
Working in the office of your family business G&G
The values I learnt from spending time with you
Were also there for anyone else, who chose to see

Leadership, Loyalty, Strength, Courage, Compassion
Hard-Working, you gave much more than just a wage
Sharing: Achievements, Celebrations, Possessions
Caring for all, you taught lessons that never age

Another valuable life experience you have shown
Is how to rise up after you’ve taken a fall
Life has knocked you down on the ground many times
But you always get up, carry on and succeed to do more

Your Positive attitude is a wonderful thing
You’re always friendly to everyone around
Giving help to anyone who needs it always
Your generous support, so many have found

I have discovered that life is supposed to be fun
It is the essential way to live and be free
From you I could have learned this many years ago
Sport has always been your fun-time, it’s plain to see

Coffee shops and crosswords became a thing
While together we waited for mum to mend
Missing her presence, these passed the time
Once home, mum carried on with the trend

And now that I am living just down the road
Again we get to share some more precious time
Drinking coffee and putting the world to right
Sharing and caring makes everything fine

About This Poem

With Father’s Day coming up at the weekend, I am sharing one of my personal family poems, but I still hope it can be enjoyed by others. It starts off mentioning a Father’s Role for his daughter because I am the only daughter, with three brothers. My Father also had no sister’s only two brothers, so a young female in his family was a new experience for him.

As you can see this was written for my father four years ago. Unfortunately, I no longer live ‘just down the road’ but I visit as often as I can. I know both my parents miss not having me living so close, but they know if they ever need me I will be there.

This week I have written two more ‘Father’ poems – Father: The Changing Role and Today’s Father. I will add them both over the weekend.

 

Be Love, Seek Joy

My Vision: 19th November 2014

Nearing the end of 2014
I decided to visit the beach
A visualization in my mind
When answers I couldn’t reach

I’d been going round in circles
Not knowing which way to turn
What should I focus on?
Was my dominant concern

James was there waiting
Through the years, my guide
I asked him my question
Noticing the constant tide

It was a very short visit
His words were only four
But their impact of truth
I’ll remember forever more

“Be Love, Seek Joy”
Was all that he said
‘The only guidance I need’
In my diary, I just read

So, Be the Love you are
And everything else will flow
No matter what happens
Love is the way to go

Seek Joy in what you do
Each and every single day
Life is supposed to be fun
Loving Beings at play

About This Poem

This is another one of my poems about one of my visualization/visions that I have been doing occasionally since 1999. To read more and find out how it all started I have a link page.

After this vision in 2014, I Googled: ‘Be Love, Seek Joy’ to see if it was a known quote from anyone – to confirm I wasn’t just remembering it, and to see if it was okay to use it on my Spiritual Quotes To Live By site, without having to credit it to someone, so that I could make a picture out of it as a divider. I didn’t find it, so went ahead.

The flowers are cut-outs from my nature photos I take to make up my quote pictures.

Of course, there are many who wisely say to ‘Seek Joy’ and I especially know that it is often told by Abraham-Hicks – who I have listened to and learned from for many years, but, the important thing is to ‘Be Love’ first. By always coming from a place of love the joy will flow effortlessly, and you can also be at peace knowing that everything you create for your joy will always be for the highest good of the all.

Ascending The Fun-Fair Of Life

Vision: 15th December 2012

It was in December 2012
Everywhere was Ascension talk
A few days before the 21st
I wondered what path we’d walk

Questioning, ‘What is Ascension?’
I went to find answers in my mind
A visit with James on the beach
And clarity of guidance I knew I’d find

But the beach just didn’t seem right
Woods?.. Mountain top high in the air?
And then I was in a new place
A field full with a travelling fun-fair

James was nowhere in sight
So I thought I’d go for a walk
Around the sights and sounds
As I did, I heard his voice talk

“With all the different rides to go on
Life is like a great FUN-fair
Exciting, noisy, lots going on
And high drama, if you dare”

“Children love all the fun
Of a colourful, simple ride
Parents know to keep them away
From those where scary things hide”

“If you want to get a high view
Take a trip on the Big Wheel
But the cycle of life has its downs
What’s important is how you feel”

“Some people love the fast rides
And crave a dangerous element
Forces pressing, tossed about
Highest drama in physicality sent”

“It’s best to only ride what you enjoy
But that’s not what most will do
A multitude of reasons why
These are some to give you a clue”

“Peer pressure, fitting in with friends
Not wanting to feel left out
May cause you to take on things
That you fear, or just give you doubt”

“Enticed by the hard sell
Or blatantly just dared
Not wanting to accept defeat
Can win over, even if truly scared”

“And then there are also those
Who’ve given their control away
Unknowingly manipulated by others
Which ride?… what to do, every day”

“There are always a few
Who just want to take in the sights
Not venturing this time on the rides
All choices… no wrongs or rights”

As I reached the other side
I noticed James just up ahead
Looking younger, dressed in jeans
Baseball cap, backwards, on his head

Between us a white picket fence
I then saw, surrounded the fair
A barrier with no visible gate
Then one appeared, so I went out there

I asked James what will happen
When Ascension comes along
He said “This fair will end
And all the rides will be gone”

“People will have a choice
To continue on in another fair
Or let go of the perpetual rides
High drama and intoxicating glare”

“To simply BE in peace and Joy
Living as One in unity
Love and Light flowing to all
Surrounded by beauty all can see”

Behind James was another field
Picturesque of Heaven above
Children happily ran and played
I could feel the Joy and the Love

James asked me, “Would you be
Willing to let all your family go
Especially your little grandchildren
And their parents… yes or no?”

I thought all the children would Ascend
When that time came to be
James said, “Even they have a choice
Always freewill for all of humanity”

We walked closer to the fence
And I understood its presence there
A barrier between the two worlds
I could see over, but not physically share

Joyful groups gathered to watch
Their precious Loved ones go for a ride
Knowing they could give guidance
Sending their energy to the other side

I felt a sense of Peace
And then drifted off to sleep
That fateful day came and went
But Ascension knowledge I now keep

About This Poem

This is another one of my poems that describes one of the visions and messages I have been given over the years. There is a link page to the other poems I’ve written so far if you would like to know more about this.

This was one of my visions that helped me to accept that there was no way I was just thinking these all by myself. The majority of them had been on a beach, with only a few elsewhere, but they were always scenes of beauty in nature. The way this one took me to somewhere I wasn’t expecting to go, and with how much sense it all made, as I saw and listened to this all in my mind, it was amazing to me. 

I did get caught up in the long build-up to that much hyped date – 22nd December 2012 – and when the day came and went, with nothing noticeable happening, I must admit I was a little disappointed. At that time I listened a lot to Abraham-Hicks, so I should have taken more notice of what they were saying, in that it would just be another day, like any other! 

There had also been another prediction in 2008, to do with disclosure, that I had also followed and hoped would happen, but it did not. But, my conclusion for that one also made sense for this non-occurrence too.

I believe that these things happen – or I should say, are predicted but don’t happen – to get our attention and to open more minds, so that we can then focus on these things to bring them about ourselves. The quote: ‘We are the ones we have been waiting for’ has a profound truth, as it is us that need to raise our vibration to bring about these changes. 

I also think that this date was a turning point in the tipping of the scales on our planet of duality, as we started to gain momentum in bringing the Light through.

Update 12th May 2023 – The Great Awakening

We certainly have been on a very high drama ride over the past few years, which seems to be intensifying each day! This vision/poem has more meaning to me now as the ‘reasons’ explained for staying clear of what we don’t enjoy have become very evident.

‘Peer pressure’ used to manipulate people to follow the rules and take the experimental jab, even though they might doubt it, and there was a definite ‘hard sell’ used by government, mainstream media & health services, their over-the-top fear mongering caused millions to be ‘truly scared. Which led to an alarming amount of people to add to those who had already ‘given their control away’ to be told ‘Which ride?… what to do, every day.’

I believe part of ‘The Great Awakening’ is for us to choose NOT to go on any of the ‘Fun-Fair Of Life’ rides, to be able to walk around the ‘attractions’ without taking part, accepting that we all have free-choice to ride or not.

The mainstream fun-fair is provided to keep us distracted and occupied with all the high drama, so we are not inclined to take the time to question anything about it, especially the overall effects and safety.

The ‘Ascension’ that was so talked about in 2012 is about ‘The Great Awakening.’ as we open up to there being so much more to life than we were led to believe, our vibration raises and we take a leap in our Ascension process. We are heading towards a future New Earth…

About This Poem

I thought I’d finished writing my Mother’s Day poems for this year with Mother’s Day and In The Arms Of An Angel, but the following day the title of this one just came to me, and I knew it was about being a mother, so had to be written that day as Mother’s Day in the UK was the following day.

After doing my usual of prayer, asking for guidance and having an inner knowing that the poem was already completed and ‘out there,’ I made a list of the aspects I wanted to cover. As I was writing the poem a few more ideas came to mind, so I made a note of them to add too. The last verse was not on my list, but just flowed and I knew it was the perfect ending.

About This Poem

The number of my old poems that I have left to share on this blog is obviously reducing over time and I haven’t gotten around to writing many new (shareable) ones lately, so it seems to be getting more difficult to choose which one to post next. About This Poem

When I originally added this quote to my website (back in 2010) I now realize that I didn’t fully understand it. But, through the teachings of Abraham-Hicks I came to see the ‘Light!’

Although the quote is mentioning tomorrow, it’s actually about today. With focusing on all the good and ‘Light’ of today, the Law Of Attraction we will bring a ‘tomorrow’ of goodness and Light. There is no need to worry (or any other negative feeling) about tomorrow if today we are living each moment in positivity, and when a negative thought or situation arises just ‘Reach for a thought that feels better.‘ (Abraham-Hicks quote)

This was the first poem I wrote using this quote, but as sometimes happens, when I finished I knew there was another one to write using the same quote. This first poem was more of a fun one, but I wanted to write one that explained the quote. The second Light Tomorrow With Today was my favourite of the two.

About This Poem

Many years ago, after several years of marriage, my husband said to me that I had changed over the years.  I was in my early twenties and had not begun my quest for spiritual and self-knowledge, so to me, I was the same person I had always been. I denied his observation, but thought that he was the one who had changed! Of course, once I began to learn, I understood the truth that we are all constantly changing throughout our lives, but this memory of first awareness of change, (or should I say ‘lack’ of awareness) has stuck with me.

Writing poems based on the concepts from ‘Conversations With God’ by Neale Donald Walsch were my first ‘quote poems’ and at that time I had no intention to write any more, they were just a way for me to focus on the concepts for my own greater understanding.

Update 30th April 2023 – The Great Awakening

Change has certainly been a very large part of ‘The Great Awakening’ over the last three years. Many people do not like change and would rather live their lives as they’ve always known it to be. Many have wanted to just get back to the way things were before 2020, but this will not happen as ‘Nothing Stays The Same!’

We are in a ‘New Age’ of the Light taking over the darkness that has dominated for centuries, this cannot be done without a monumental change in everything we have held as a ‘normal’ way of life. All major institutions (banking, government, education, medical, large corporations, military, judicial, royalty etc..) are being shown for the dark deeds they have all used to manipulate the people of Earth. It will take time, but ‘Remembering we are all One, Eternally growing’ in Unity we will create our New Earth of Love & Light.

Update 3rd May 2023 – The Great Awakening

All of the statements in my poem are relevant to this current time we are living through. It is very important to remember we are attracting what we are focusing on, so that we can make sure to pay more attention on what we want to create now and in our future, rather than dwelling on all of the darkness that has happened in our past and is now coming to Light at our present time to be cleared.

One of the things that is coming to Light is of many people who we thought were ‘good’ were actually working for the dark and using their ‘celebrity’ status to push charitable work etc.. which undercover was used for money making, child trafficking etc… I mention this here because the Dalai Lama a few weeks ago came up as possibly one of these figures. A video was shown of him being inappropriate with a young boy. The evidence seems to put him under this category, especially as there have been other links with him to organizations that have proved to be nefarious. However, there are also suggestions that his behaviour was part of tradition and that he is possible affected with mind altering aging disabilites. It is difficult to discern the real truth unless a lot of research is done.

As the Light continues to grow stronger, time will tell which is the core truth, and in the meantime, it gives us all a big nudge to question EVERYTHING, including those who we have viewed as the highest Spiritual people alive today.

About This Poem 

Sometimes in my dreams I am the mother to my children and grandchildren at the same time, or I’m a child the same age as both generations with my parents as the parents of us all.. but in the crazy world of dreams it all makes perfect sense!

In a similar way the generations do seem to blend together as the years zoom by at an alarming rate. As my grandchildren are now racing toward adulthood (the oldest is 21 at the end of this year and the next 16 in a few weeks) it seems such a short time ago that they were tiny babies as I watched my children become parents but… it hardly seems any more distance in time that they were babies in my arms too! And yet, in a few months even my youngest child will be 36, which was the age that I became a grandmother. 

I’m not sure if it’s a sign of being older or a sign of Awakening that time is losing all meaning to me. The days pass by in what seems a few hours, weeks a few days, months seem to be only a couple of weeks long and years only last a few months! It’s akin to sleep where you close your eyes in one moment and open them in what feels like a minute or two later to find many hours have passed – in the blink of an eye!

Does anyone else feel this way?
I think I got a bit side-tracked here, but I suppose it is about looking back over family life! 🙂

Update 3rd May 2023 – The Great Awakening

The way we view all that is going on in our world at this time of great change will affect how long it will take for us to create our New Earth of Love, Compassion and Peace.

With all of the revelations coming to Light many people are feeling very angry and if they stay in that emotion for too long they will probably move on to wanting revenge etc.. Of course, there is nothing wrong in feeling anger, but it doesn’t help the individual (or world) to dwell in any negative emotion, especially as this ‘feeds’ the darkness.

One of the ways we have been manipulated over the years is by negativity caused by various divisions of humanity: wars, religion, gender, race, class etc.. This has been heavily pushed in more recent years with the strong emphasis on making anyone questioning the official narrative a ‘conspiracy theorist’ or ‘anti-vaxxer’ etc…

We will never agree on everything, but, respecting anyone to have their own view (regardless of how right or wrong we feel it is) I believe is the way forward. However, this does not mean that we have to bow to their perceptions, nor allow anything that we consider morally wrong to be forced into the developing minds of our children.

Many would say we are in terrible times with so much darkness going on – Change The Way You Look At Things – we are in Enlightening, changing times as wrong-doings are being shown to the world, And The Things You Look At Change – we are eliminating the darkness with our Compassionate, Loving, Light.

About This Poem

This was one of the times that when I had completed a poem using a quote as the title and theme and felt I wanted to write another but from a different perspective.

The first poem – We Only Part To Meet Again (1) –  I wrote for my family and friends, hoping that when my time comes to leave this Earthly life they will be able to read my words and feel uplifted by them. But, I am aware that the words I share also give meaning to others who read them too. 

Before writing this second poem I hadn’t given any thought to all the partings we experience throughout our lives, but of course, these are only physical partings because in reality we are never truly apart.. for we are all ONE.

About This Poem

Well, Nothing Is By Chance… but this poem took me totally by surprise!

I wanted to write a poem so I chose a quote that jumped out at me from my long list. As I made myself a coffee and toast, I began to think of how it would shape and knew it would obviously be about coincidences and synchronicity. Not wanting to start writing without my usual prayer of thankfulness and asking for guidance, I first checked my emails while I had my breakfast, which led me to read a few articles from a blog I had been sent a link to a couple of days previously (remember Nothing Is By Chance!)

Years ago I followed many blogs etc.. that dealt with the dominating elite of our world, of how we are controlled and manipulated. But, I eventually realized that as I chose to focus my attention on the positive I had to let go of keeping the wrong-doings so fully in my sight. The only blog I continue to follow, from back then, is Blossom Goodchild because her channellings from The Federation Of Light are so full of love and upliftment and sing so true to me. And it was a link from Blossom that led me to the blog of Deus Nexus. I read the article she linked to about observatories closing and began to browse the blog. I immediately realized it was the type of site I used to follow, containing all the latest news about what is going on, but there was also a balance of ‘good’ stuff too, so I went to take a look at the ‘About’ page. There I read the poem ‘Consider A Tree’ by David Nova (the author of the blog) and I immediately knew this was a synchronistic link. The poem is so beautiful (please do read it) I just had to ask if I could share it on my Spiritual Quotes To Live By site. (permission was granted)

From their I found that David is the author of a metaphysical fiction series, so I checked Amazon and read the beginning of his first novel and was hooked! So I bought it. I haven’t had a lot of time for reading since then, so I am only a few chapters in, but it is very intriguing.

So, because of this synchronistic link the darker side had crept back to my attention.

Going back to the creation of this poem..
After praying for guidance and visualizing the completed poem ‘out there’ uplifting people around the world, I got ready to write… I read the quote again and thought of coincidences, but nothing came to my mind, which is very unusual for me. I read the quote again and thought, ‘What am I going to write?!!!’ And the questions of the first four verses flowed quickly. As I was writing them I was thinking this is way too negative! – I try not to have anything negative in my poems unless it is really needed to tell the story or help explain a concept. But, I knew that as there were questions, I would go on to answer them.

The answer verses followed easily but then I was writing about the ‘dark side’ in more detail than I would like. I finished the poem and didn’t even bother to print it out, I just let it go, thinking it was all too negative. Usually when I am not happy with a poem I continue straight on to write another with the same quote, I was thinking this would be so easy to do with this one, as I already knew I could write about coincidences. However, nothing flowed, so I gave up.

The following day I had another attempt to write a poem with the same quote, but still nothing!  It was interesting that I just couldn’t seem to get the words for a quote that I knew I could write so much about! So, I re-read the first one and gave it some thought…

If I truly believe – and I do – that ‘Nothing Is By Chance‘ – then I was supposed to write this poem and not one about coincidences.  And, if I truly believe in what I wrote – and I do – then I should share it… negativity and all!

By the way, because of the way this one developed, I also believe that once this poem is published I will easily write another using the same quote.. so watch out for that one too!

Update 8th May 2023 – The Great Awakening

As you can see from ‘About This Poem’ above, this was a turning point in my writing. As I am going through all of my poems to add this new category of ‘The Great Awakening,’ there have been many previous to this one that fit, but this is the first one where I mention the illuminate-elite and their fearsome manipulation. I knew it was around this time that I began to include more of this subject (and not try to stick totally to positivity) but, until reading this today I had forgotten how I realised this was my new path forward. I am thankful I added this additional section to my poem posts as many other posts contain things I’d forgotten too!

About This Poem

I have learned and come to understand how the Law Of Attraction works mostly through the teachings of Abraham-Hicks, which is why I am drawn to using their quotes as titles and themes of my poems. This quote is one that that many find hard to get their head around when first hearing of the Law Of Attraction, and needs full understanding to implement into everyday life. 

By giving attention to anything you don’t like, or want, in your life, you are actually going to bring yourself more of the same! Of course, it’s impossible to never think of, or see anything you don’t like, but by being aware of your thoughts and feelings about things, enables you to choose whether to continue with the thought or change it to something that feels better. In fact, knowing what you don’t want, is kind of essential to knowing what you do want, just don’t spend too much time on the negative! 

Update 29th April 2023 – The Great Awakening

I am adding this poem to my new category of ‘The Great Awakening’ as it teaches how we create our reality and by focusing too much on the things we don’t want we will create more of the same.

As so many terrible revelations are coming forth it is very easy to get sucked into spending too much time sharing this information – which is needed – but there has to be a greater focus of drawing your own attention to the good in all things. I do my best to keep in mind that with all of the atrocities being revealed it gives us the opportunity to rid our world of things that have long been kept undercover. Therefore there is a good reason for humanity to be going through this ordeal.

Love & Light is succeeding in overpowering the dark. The darkness cannot exist when Light is shone upon it.

About This Poem

When I began collecting quotes for my original website of Spiritual Quotes To Live By I came across this one from Elizabeth Barrett Browning and added it because I liked it.  I realize now that I never really understood the meaning. Through learning more about the Law of Attraction since 2010, I now clearly see that by living today focused on love, peace and happiness will more easily bring a tomorrow full of the same.

I write poems using quotes as the title and theme to add interest to my website, back in 2016 (when this was written) I was working my way through a list of quotes. Sometimes when I’m writing I get other ideas for using the same quote, or I might not be totally happy with the first poem so I’ll write another. This was the second poem on this quote, here is the first one.

A Gentle Soul

Many people shape our lives
Especially during the younger years
With us through the blessed joys
And there to wipe our tears

Some are as large-as-life
Their presence takes centre stage
It’s easy to see how their character
Is written on our biography page

But some are quiet in nature
Their presence ever-serene
Life continues on around them
As though they’re hardly seen

They may not have much to say
But their words are kind and pure
Just being in their company
Will affect you at your core

They are the ink to our pen
Without them we couldn’t write

Would show in dark or light

Was one, a truly gentle Soul

A mother in time of war

About This Poem

I wrote this poem for my mum’s birthday last year, I made it into a card so that the first part of the poem was on the outside, then when she opened it there was a full length picture of her mum with the rest of the poem about her.

I have written several poems for members of my family and had no intention of sharing most of them, but reading through them I thought some could be suitable to share, this being one.

Who Am I?

From the moment I was born
Many roles did I receive
Placed within my Being
What depth would I believe?

A Human-Being of planet Earth
A Girl of physicality
English by place of birth
Premature was little me

Born into the Working Class
No ‘silver spoon’ to be fed
No ‘blue blood’ in my veins
Into this Ordinary Life I was led

First Daughter to my parents
First Granddaughter on both sides
A Sister to my brother
Niece and Cousin, timing provides

Five roles of relationships
Fifteen Family Members I affected
But none will observe the same
In the Baby they inspected

A Son or Daughter is a different person
To each and every mum and dad
Gender expectations are impressed
From their own upbringing they had

A midwife delivered me that night
At home, doing her chosen work
Present for the miracle of birth

About This Poem

I was reading a post from Amira: Accepting Change, Releasing Limitations, and while reading it a quote came to my mind, the combination of the two inspired me to write this poem. I am pretty sure the quote was from an unknown source and I thought I had it written down ready to add to my quote site, but I couldn’t find it. From my memory it was: “I am a Mother to three children, each of them has a different Mother and none of them are me.”

Many of my poems are personal to my life and might be totally irrelevant to others lives, but I believe reading other peoples ‘stories’ can shed light on our own and open doors to greater understanding.

We Are Being Taken Over!

We Are Being Taken Over…
This is NOT a conspiracy theory!
You will KNOW this to be true
If you read all the way through.

We Are Being Taken Over…
They are already here living among us
They arrive each and every day
There is no stopping them.

They are positioning themselves in all walks of life
All races, all cultures, all classes, all abilities
They are willing to infiltrate them all.

They don’t have control yet
But they will… it’s only a matter of time.

Slowly, but surely they will take over…
They will be in control of every village, every town,
every city, every country and every nation.

They will be in every profession…
Teachers, Shop Workers, Lawyers Nurses,
Social Workers, Authors, Doctors, Carers, Bankers, Police…
Every single occupation.

They will command and be the governments and armies
of every single nation.

Their influence will touch the lives of us all.

They will be the parents of the next generations
Instilling their own beliefs and their own way of life
On the children of the future.

They are everywhere, waiting for their time.
In the years ahead they will take over…
No one will be immune to their domination
They will have total control.
Wherever you go on this planet…
They will be there.

Are you concerned about this?

What if we close our borders?

But they are not arriving in that way
They have another means of entry.

This invasion has been going on since humans began
We are powerless to stop it.

But, thankfully scientist have recently discovered that we can gain control.
They have found out that when these Beings arrive they are not fully programmed.
We have the power to install the software that can benefit us all.

It is a mammoth task, but it’s doable, if enough of the right people take their part.

These beings use a type of mind virus to adapt to our world
They learn to behave like us humans by memes.
They watch our every move, listen to our every word
Copy our mannerisms, actions and habits.
They can even tune into our thoughts
So we will have to be Aware at all times.

We need to use our hearts and minds to focus on how we want our world to be…
Loving, Peaceful, Supportive, Generous, Helpful,
Compassionate, Forgiving –  in all its Diversity.
Caring and Sharing the abundance of resources available for everyone.
Living in Appreciation and Gratitude.
Treasuring our planet and every living thing on it.
Then we can programme the new arrivals with these qualities.

We will have to be very careful to do our best to live these qualities ourselves
Because their complete core programming takes about six years.
It will be very easy at first to nurture them
Showing them only love, compassion and joy.
But, as time passes and we have bad days
Getting stressed out about this and that, it becomes harder to stay aware…
They will always mimic our every mood, and install it.

As I said, it is a tremendous task, but it would be worth it…
What a wonderful world we could all share in the future.
And in our aging years we would be surrounded by loving, caring citizens of Earth.
We would be joyously happy to let these new beings take over, everywhere.
The future of life on Earth would be safe in their capable, caring hands and hearts.

So, who among us is up for the job?…

About This Poem

This poem is based upon the following quote by Rev. James A. Simpson.

“An army is invading our country. It is going to capture and take possession of everything we have, every political office, business, school, college and council. Nothing will be left to us. This army is composed of the babies and youngsters in our homes. They are the future citizens, the future teachers, directors, politicians. What happens to them, the kind of people they will become, will determine the quality of life in this country twenty-thirty years from now. No task is therefore more important than the education and training of these children in honesty, self-discipline, generosity, love and forgiveness.”

When I first read this quote I thought it was very thought provoking in it’s truth. I had previously been reading about how children have no filters in their early years and just absorb everything from those who surround them, so I wanted to bring these together in a poem. I also liked the idea of making it like a Conspiracy Theory of us being taken over, so I did not want to reveal until the very end that it is all about children.

Every Instant Of Time Is A Pinprick Of Eternity

Time: A simple word that evokes so much
In the modern world it imprints on all we touch
Lives are ruled by the ticking of the clock
Conforming to its pace, we heed the tick-tock

It’s a man-made concept all so easily seen
When twice a year we have to adjust our routine
Changing the clock first forward and then back
Why does it continue? Is it sensibility we lack?

Fitting everything in at the allotted time
Being late is frowned on, considered a crime
Forcing people to be the same as each other
Obeying the system, natural alignment we smother

In the times of old, nature ruled the days
Governed by the sun’s lightening rays
Dawn, mid-day and dusk were the cue
To the timing of all they needed to do

It’s funny how the same minute can be long or short
Hours, days, even years, it seems time can distort
Why is it that the exact same duration
Can change? Is there really an explanation?

At embarrassing moments time just stands still

About This Poem

When I sat to write the poem for this quote I knew I wanted to cover how our perception of time is affected by what we are doing and our thoughts. I follow the teachings of Abraham-Hicks so I always do my best to focus on the positive and not give my attention to the negative, so I try not to include negative aspects in my poems unless I feel it is needed and I would only use them sparingly. However, I felt that this poem needed all of the contrasts, so it has many more negative experiences than I would usually include.

Most people agree that time seems to speed up as we get older, but I truly believe that time has actually sped up since we moved into the ‘New Age.’ When I look back to the 70’s/80’s/90’s I can’t believe all the things it was possible to do in one day! And now, my days go by so fast, in comparison it seems as though what was a morning is now a whole day! I know I am older so have slowed down, and as much as possible I spend my day doing what I love to do (which speeds time up) but, as each month passes in what seems not much more than a week, I sometimes wonder, with the ever-increasing speed, what will eventually happen?

However, I know that time is just a concept we need to experience our life here on Earth and in other dimensions it does not exist in the same way or at all. And most importantly the only time I need to be: concerned about, focused on, appreciating, living, being, loving, blessing, enjoying is NOW.

About This Poem

When I was about nine or ten, I wrote a poem for my mum called Mother’s Hand. My mum still has it! So, when I began writing poems (as an adult) I wanted to have a go at re-writing it for her birthday.

I can’t believe it was almost seventeen years ago! And there was me thinking she was getting old reaching sixty-three,  but in very few years I will be that age!!! Over the years I have written quite a few poems for my parents as they always love to receive them on special occasions. My mum will be eighty in October, so hopefully I will be up to the challenge of writing her something she will treasure. Now, as each birthday, anniversary and Mother’s/Father’s day comes round I begin to doubt that I can come up with something, but when I ask for guidance, it always comes. 🙂

One of my all-time favourite quotes is: You are not a human on a Spiritual journey. You are a Spirit on a human journey. (Pierre Teilhard de Chardin) so this is something I do my best to convey in many of my poems. 

I have no doubt what-so-ever that we survive death. In the past I have had many messages through different mediums that were either unusual knowledge of myself or members of my family, or, I was given advice that would have a dramatic affect on my life. I no longer go to Spiritualist Church for various reasons, but I am grateful for all the messages and knowledge I gained over the time that I did. 

‘Sympathy’ poems are something I am drawn to and love to write. Death is a large part of life but is not talked about by so many people, it is also mostly considered to be a feared and extremely sad event. My wish with my poems is to bring this topic to everyone, not just to those who are grieving, and to shed light and cheerful acceptance on dying.. for we will all go through it ourselves one day!

The Best Way To Make Children Good

We want our children to be good
Do as told, and as they should
We give rules and we instil
Our beliefs, their minds we fill
With all the ways that we know how
To live as best, in these times now

From the moment of their birth
And for all their days on Earth
Our one hope above the rest
Through all joys and times of test
Is that they will be happy every day
No matter what will come their way

We all wish them lives of love
Some wish alignment with above
We all want them to be healthy
Some wish them to be wealthy
But all these are not true worth
Without happiness and mirth

Making them happy seems the way
To please them each and every day

On making a living we do depend

The cycle of life continues on
Before too long the child is gone
Now an adult the world will see

About This Poem

I write poems using inspirational quotes from my website: Spiritual Quotes To Live By. After praying for guidance I write what flows, but sometimes once the poem is finished, I know I need to write another one using the same quote. This was one of those times.

The full quote from Oscar Wilde is: The Best Way To Make Children Good Is To Make Them Happy. I have cut it short for this poem just to differentiate between the two.

The first poem focuses more on how children learn by example but also have their own inner guidance. I felt I needed to write more to include how wanting our children to be happy is something that continues throughout their, and our, lives. – Even my parents, still say all they want is for their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to be happy. – I also wanted to write a more personal poem.

As we grow older and look back at our children’s childhoods it is so easy to see the mistakes we’ve made and to wish we could have done things differently, but to have inner peace we have to accept that we did the best with what we knew at that time.

I share some of my poems with others in my family, especially if I write a personal one for them, but most are not on the same wavelength, yet! Which is one of the reasons I write, someday they may see and know that they were my inspiration.

About This Poem

I, like many others around the world, felt a change when the wonderful Wayne Dyer made his transition to the other side. His loving presence is now so much closer to us all. From his humble beginnings to becoming the world-renowned author and spiritual teacher, he was, and still is, a source of abundant love, wisdom and inspiration.

I love so many of his enlightening quotes and this one was an easy choice to use for a poem. I began with a list of ideas to cover, obviously music was the first and I also wanted to include websites and writing to remind myself to ‘get on with it!’ I have a close friend who is an artist so that gave me another verse, and performers of stage and screen were an obvious option. The rest just came out in the writing.

I believe we are all here for a reason, whether it’s to become known worldwide or just in a small family group, it makes no difference – everyone is important and has a vital part to play in this game of life. 

Update 30th April 2023 – The Great Awakening

We are all here for a reason at this momentous time in Earth’s history, everyone has their part to play in ‘The Great Awakening’ of humanity. For some it is a large part in bringing forth many revelations through various avenues as mentioned in this poem, but even those who consider they have no ‘real’ part to play, can make a magnificent contribution by: Being the Love they are, seeking Joy each day and shining their Light to wherever it is needed. We are all in this together.
