New Earth: Know & Affirm

Based on teaching of Sacha Stone

In old Earth’s duality
Our anchors were faith and hope
To survive the storms of life
In trusting these we could cope

Doing our best to be positive
No matter what comes our way
Being calm our hopeful stance
As negativity hit each day

In New Earth’s Higher rays
We claim our Divine Power
Magnificent creative Beings
We are the only allower

Seeing from a Higher perspective
Hope and faith allow a lack
Giving away our control
To another power having our back

Using our aligned intuition
And standing strong in our knowing
We truly empower ourselves
Our Divine spark is glowing

Affirming from that stance
‘I AM’ words Blessed, creative
Expressing our true essence
God within us each day we live

I know I AM the Love
I know I Am the Light
I know I AM Sovereign
I know I AM shining bright

I know I AM a part of God
I know I AM a powerful Being
I know I AM creating it all
I know I AM reflecting what I’m seeing

I know I AM part of it ALL
I know I AM ONE in Unity
I know I AM a Spiritual Being
I know I AM eternally free

About This Poem

Hope and faith were a very important part of anyone’s attitude of the past, these were what would help us get through our lives especially when faced with difficulties and hardship. However, as humanity is now raising our vibration and consciousness higher we need to move on from these old ways of thinking.

When I listened to Sacha Stone talking about this last year it really ‘sang true’ to me and I knew it was an important aspect to write a poem about. In my series of poems ‘Affirming The Classics’ I have been re-writing old poems and hymns to make them affirmations, so this poem fits well with those too.

I am now compiling a new collection called New Earth these poems are written from the perspective of us already living in New Earth (or 5D) and looking back on how things were (or still are for many in our current 3D world of duality.) The Law of Attraction teaches us that we create our own reality and the only way it works is to put your focus and attention on what you want to create, regardless of what you may see all around us!

I Am A Channel Of Your Love, Light & Peace

Based on: Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace, by St Francis of Assisi

I Am a Channel of Your Peace
I Am a Channel of Your Unconditional Love
I Am a Channel of Your Forgiveness to All
I Bring Constant and True Faith in You

I Am a Channel of Your Light
I Bring Confidence in Your Ever-Present Goodness
My Light Shines United with Your Pure Radiance
My Presence Uplifts with Our Combined Perpetual Joy

I Acknowledge Oneness and Your Universal Laws
As I Comfort Others, I Am Comforted
When I Accept and Understand All people, it is Reflected back to Me
Unconditional Love is My Source, My Essence: The All-That-Is

I Am a Channel of Your Love, Light and Peace
In Oneness, I Forgive and I Am Forgiven
Whatever I Give in Life, I Always Receive
There is no end: Only Oneness In Eternal Love

Trina Graves – 28th January 2019

About This Poem

I have always loved the original poem by St Francis:

Make me a channel of your peace
Where there is hatred let me bring your love
Where there is injury, your pardon Lord
And where there’s doubt, true faith in You.

Make me a channel of your peace
Where there’s despair in life let me bring hope
Where there is darkness, only light
And where there’s sadness ever joy

O Master grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love with all my Soul

Make me a channel of your peace
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned
It is in giving to all men that we receive
And in dying that we are born to eternal life

It is amazing to think that these beautiful words were written so long ago (St Francis 1181 – 1226) but are still so relevant in the world we live in today.

This poem is the only one I have in clear view at my desk, to remind me of how I want to live my life. But, in recent times, when I read it, I notice that although it speaks so clearly of the qualities I desire, and of how the powerful Law of Attraction works, it doesn’t ‘affirm’ these things. The negative aspects are mentioned and it is written as a plea of something to achieve, rather than an ‘Affirmation of Being.’

I had been thinking of doing some Affirmation re-writes on some of my favourite poems for quite awhile now. The other day in my notebook I found a simpler version of this one, written in January 2018, that I’d forgotten about (I will add this soon). But when I read it through I thought it was too wishy-washy and I wanted to bring more depth of meaning and to convey our own personal connection with whoever we are praying to. (God, Spirit, Jesus etc..)

Looking at these two re-writes I can see the growth I have made in a year.  In the first I tried to stick clearly to the original with simply affirming the statements. My insecure thoughts were: Who am I to think I should re-write such a renowned inspirational poem? Which is probably why I never did anything with it, or have a go at re-writing any more.

But now, I feel more powerfully in alignment with Source to be able to proclaim these words, knowing I create my world with my thoughts and beliefs. I no longer just wish to achieve these goals of love, forgiveness, faith, hope, light, joy, understanding, and of course, peace, but instead I chose to consistently affirm my eternal connection and BE these attributes.

By the way, the poem may seem a little repetitive with lots of  – ‘I Am’s – but this is for a reason: I AM announces the presence of God within

For the poem image I decided to use the same background I used for the original poem that is on my wall (which is available to instantly download at my Etsy shop), because purple has always been my favourite colour and dandelions hold a significant meaning to me.
