About This Poem

Many years ago, before I began my Spiritual Path, I would wonder how it was possible to sense when someone was in a bad mood. They didn’t need to speak or even look at you, just walking into the room they were in, you could feel it! But what was more alarming was the way their bad mood would soon affect everyone else around them!

I was given plenty of experience in this phenomena, which at the time I certainly did not appreciate, but now I can see it was a learning experience. We mostly have to experience things to truly understand them and by living through some bad situations we know exactly what we don’t want, and so can strive for what we do. And the only way to do this is to be grateful for the experience, forgive yourself and whoever it concerned, bless it and let it go. And then, put all your attention on what you do want, never giving thought to what you don’t. Then, as more and more of what you do want shows up.. Appreciate it! Give thanks for it! and you will receive more of the same.

Another thing that baffled me was that sometimes people would say they felt calm when they were with me, I probably hadn’t said much at all, as I have always tended to listen more than talk, so I couldn’t see why they would say that. Of course, now I know we radiate out the energy of how we are feeling, and also we can intentionally send out energy to others too.

There is someone I know who had told me he heard and sensed thoughts, I rarely see him, but once (several years ago) when I was visiting someone he was there. I thought I’d try something and while they were talking and he had his back to me I built up a strong sense of love and blasted it at him! He immediately turned around to look at me and smiled, then continued talking. I had no doubt that he felt what I sent.
