Title Quote: Neale Donald Walsch
When faced with a decision
Not knowing which way to go
Choices lay before you
Confusion blocks your flow
Worrying about the wrong one
Puts a frown upon your brow
Just ask yourself the question
What Would Love Do Now?
All experiences are beneficial
Even the bad ones play a part
They can break down the barriers
To open up your heart
No matter what the problem
You can get through it somehow
By asking yourself the question
What Would Love Do Now?
Whether just beginning your path
Or seeing the end in sight
It’s your course that you follow
Only you know what is right
Which twist or turn to take ahead
Rest now or onward plough
Always ask yourself the question
What Would Love Do Now?
A negative side has to exist
For the positive to simply be
So you can always take that view
And a darker side you’ll see
But if you choose the Light
A channel of Love you allow
You’ll embody with each step
What Love Would Do Now

About This Poem
When I was doing this part for yesterday’s poem ‘Is This Who I Am?’ (based on a Neale Donald Walsch quote) ‘What Would Love Do Now?’ came into my head. I started to write about this quote too, but then thought it would make an excellent title for a new poem. While it was fresh on my mind I Googled the quote (as I knew I had read it somewhere) and found a beautiful song by Jason Mraz.
Searching some more I discovered, and shouldn’t have been surprised, that the quote was from Neale Donald Walsch. So, I got on with writing the poem straight away.
Sometimes when I’ve finished a poem I read it and think it’s not alright, this was one of those times, so I went back to yesterday’s ‘About This Poem’ and deleted everything about this new quote. But, as with what usually happens, the next day I read the poem and see it with fresh eyes.
Wow dear Trina! You are and open channel for inspiration!!! I am amazed at the poetry you birng forward each time!!! Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu 🙂
I look forward to re-posting this one soon! ❤

Thank you so much Amira, it was really strange yesterday because when I wrote it I thought it was totally ‘off!’ So I went on and wrote another one instead, but then today read it and thought it is okay!
I think I’ve just realized (as I’m writing this to you) what happened… I have had a title and idea for a poem in my head for a couple of weeks, but kept putting off writing it! Yesterday, because that one didn’t seem okay I wanted to write another (I don’t like to finish with not feeling good about what I’ve written) so I just went for the title that was in my head.. Speak Your Truth! It all makes sense now!!! 🙂
Things certainly do become clear to me when I ‘chat’ with you. ❤

I am so glad that you follow your intuition and write your poems without thinking or interference, even if after you read them, they don’t seem to make sense… I am glad you keep them because in the end, they all make a lot of sense!!!:)

‘Everything happens for a reason!’ I have always known this as a truth, even before I started on my Spiritual path. ❤
